This winter's sixth cold wave is rushing to the end of the year to "punch in", and a wide range of rain and snow is about to spread. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from the 23rd to the 26th, there will be (rain-to-turn) sleet or snowfall in the southeastern part of the northwest region, the south-central part of north China, the southern part of the northeast region, the eastern and northern parts of Huanghuai, the western part of Huanghuai, the western part of Jiangnan, and the eastern part of Chongqing, Guizhou, and northeastern Yunnan.
Specifically, on the 24th, Shijiazhuang, Jinan, and Taiyuan are expected to push the window to see snow, mainly small to medium snow; Zhengzhou will have rain or sleet on the 24th; Xi'an will begin to have rain and snow weather this afternoon, and the snowfall really brought by the cold tide will start from the night of the 24th, and it is expected to push the window to see snow on the 25th.
The center of gravity of snowfall in the north is in Weihai, Yantai and other places in Shandong, with cold air carrying north wind south across the Bohai Sea, will bring continuous cold current snowfall to these areas, it is expected that there will be moderate to heavy snow on the 24th to 26th, and the local area may even reach the order of blizzard.
In the south, Wuhan, Changsha and Guiyang will usher in rain and snow on the 24th, of which Wuhan is expected to turn snow on the 25th, and Changsha and Guiyang will have small to moderate snow on the 26th, which will also be the early winter snow in Wuhan, Changsha and Guiyang.
In addition, whether it snowed in Kunming and Nanchang on the 26th remains to be seen, and Hefei, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and other places want to see the chance of early snow this winter.
Judging from the precipitation forecast map of the Central Meteorological Observatory, around the 26th, the southernmost snow line will be pushed to the vicinity of Nanling, which will also be the southernmost position of the snow line since this winter.
