In the Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement, Liang Weilin served as the deputy head of the Shanghai Anti-Japanese Youth Salvation League, and the Anti-Japanese War made the people's lives miserable, and Liang Weilin stepped forward again and again to fight in the front line.
When Liang Weilin had just come down from the front, he received orders from his superiors to return to Guangdong to work, organize the "Anti-Japanese War Education Practice Society" and serve as an instructor.
In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Liang Weilin served as the director of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, not only to create teaching and research offices at all levels, but also to promote the establishment of several colleges and universities, it can be said that Liang Weilin laid a solid foundation for the province's education cause, sent a large number of talents to New China, and is a force that cannot be ignored in the construction of New China.
When Liang Weilin was the director of the Hong Kong branch of the Xinhua News Agency, he always adhered to the central government's work policy on Hong Kong and Macao, closely united with Hong Kong patriots, helped them solve practical difficulties, and strengthened the cultural and economic construction of the two places.
