Live Bar, December 23, 2019 FIFA officially announced the 2021 national team year-end rankings today, of which the United States team rose to 11th in the world.

The U.S. team also surpassed Mexico to become the number one team in Central and North America.

In FIFA's year-end rankings last year, the U.S. team ranked 22nd in the world, trailing 9th-placed Mexico by 13th. In the past year, the U.S. team has improved by a full 11 places, and is currently three places ahead of Mexico in 14th place.
