Ma Yinyin: I want Torykawa Kaede to be my boyfriend!

Ma Yinyin, female, Chinese mainland female singer, the chinese voice Yu Chengqing group four, starred in the TV series "Left Ear"

Ma Yinyin: I want Torykawa Kaede to be my boyfriend!

01 Now that you are an insider, is your current understanding of the entertainment industry different from before? What's the bigger part of the change?

I used to think that the entertainment industry was a very deep and deep place, there were many unknown secrets, a lot of unspoken rules, which were previously seen like this, and I believe that many outsiders watched the entertainment industry like this. Now come in and find out that this is not the case. And I used to think that the entertainment industry is so big, and then I entered the circle to find that in fact, this circle is not big, and the person you can think of can basically know TA through you knowing two or three people.

02 If you don't enter the entertainment industry, what industry do you most want to engage in? From what moment in the past did it start to change?

I should also be a music maker, maybe an independent musician, or transition to production, or education. The point of change should be that in May last year, the director of The Voice of China came to find me, and then I decided to participate in this competition, and then I entered the industry like this, and I became an insider.

03 Why do you like jazz? What do you think jazz has brought you in the pursuit of music?

There are many reasons to love jazz, it is a music that is constantly innovating, it is creative, it is very inclusive music, it is very logical, it is interesting, it is also beautiful. You hear a lot of other music whose rules are very obvious, you may be able to predict where it will go, listen to it you know where the next note will fall, what the next melody will be like. But jazz is a kind of music that you can't predict, elusive, and when a person is in solo you never know where it will go, because there will be countless chords that can be matched with the same tone, and there is no absolute right or wrong. According to each person's own ideas and aesthetics, TA can match the same sound with any chord that TA wants, as long as TA has TA's own logical truth, TA's own recognition, can be such a very personalized language.

In the process of learning music, I have also tried different types of music, but it seems that many of them are not particularly suitable for me, the premise is that many of my voice conditions are too high to sing, and one is that these qualities like jazz just talked about are particularly attractive to me, especially for people like me who grew up under the education in China, the education received from childhood is only a standard answer under a question, and jazz completely opens up another sky for me. So after constantly breaking your fixed thinking mode, it inspires my inner free imagination, so you will see that jazz is constantly merging, it and any kind of music fusion you can find, and classical music, funk, rock, hip-hop, pop, Latin, reggae, all have its fusion products, it is a very connotative kind of music, but it is not so leaky. It will still do its beauty to the point, which is also a philosophy of life and has inspired me a lot.

04 What drove you to take over "Left Ear"? What are some of the challenges of going from singer to actor that you didn't anticipate?

It's driven by fate (laughs). At that time, the Episode of Harlem Battle had already been broadcast on TV, and I had also recorded the next episode of the show where I was eliminated, and in short, I had stopped in the Good Voice Competition. On the second day of this, I received a private message from Xue Manjie, and she mobilized a lot of people to contact me on Weibo, at that time it was very incredible, I believe that everything has the arrangement of Heaven, it is such a wonderful opportunity, soon met with the director, Xue Manjie, the feeling of being the same at first sight, everything is very smooth, there is also a brief audition, I also have to study the script again, and then see if I can take this role. She's really a character who is very attractive to me, and she has very attractive qualities, but they are qualities that are difficult for us to have. I actually had a burden in my heart at the beginning to play such an important role for the first time I acted, but when I saw the director and Xue Manjie, the recognition in their eyes gave me a lot of courage, making me think that maybe I didn't know it myself, but they must know something. Then I'm willing to believe I can do it well.

The challenge at the beginning was that I really didn't know what acting was all about, so I went to find some books to read. I am a person who is particularly easy to think a lot, I will think about a person like me, how to put me into the role, what she has experienced I have not experienced, how can I experience, how can I express her emotional emotions, can be as real as possible to interpret; but then the real you are also yourself, not her, I will have a lot of these ideas, so there are some performance books to learn, and then a little bit to learn some of the principles in the performance. How to build a bridge between your own emotions and the emotions of the characters is also through learning and reading to have an initial understanding, and after these preparations, the group begins to shoot a little bottom in the heart. But the real beginning of learning a little bit is still in the process of filming, the director will tell you, in fact, you raise an eyebrow, your expression will be different. Because before I did not deliberately think about how to express my inner emotions through expressions and limbs, singing is to control through some of the things on the music, and the performance is to pass the expressions and limbs that you can see, which is really not done before, and it is also a relatively big challenge. There is also a profession that is to be an actor to work against instinct, which I did not expect. For example, hanging Weah you will be afraid, but you can't show fear, it is against your instincts. Also there's the fact that the environment is cold, but you can't shiver and can't show cold, because the character is in the summer, not in the season of wearing a down jacket. I think it's a great and great experience to keep you going beyond yourself, which is a challenge for the actors to bring me, and it's a very special life experience.

05 Did you see your own shadow in the process of playing "Bar"?

When I first received this play, I really didn't feel like I was very similar to Bara, but as I acted, I found that there were really many places that were quite similar. One thing that is more similar is that she and I are quite rebellious and persistent, and she really identifies the people and things she has identified. I'm not as cheerful as Barra, I'm a little more introverted, but the inner persistence and stubbornness are the same. There is also a more similar point is that I will be more defensive in interpersonal communication, I can't make a lot of friends without heart and lungs, I sometimes envy such people, but I can't do it, so that I can unload my inner defense line, and there are very few good friends who really embrace recognition from the depths of my heart. But I'm also pretty much a social guy (laughs).

06 If you were given a chance to travel back in time, what would you stop yourself from doing?

Because my mother was a very ladylike person, she always wanted me to continue her "mantle", but in fact, my personality was really more like a boy. But for a while I felt like, "No, no, I'm going to do a little gongju", and when I was in high school, I would wear that kind of long skirt with hooked lace, ah, small shirt, and dress up like a small gongju, and for a while it was really like that. But soon I was back to myself, wearing a tracksuit or something. But for a while I did do something like that, and if I went back in time I should have stopped it, looked her in the eye and said to her, "It's not you, give up." "I've been more like a boy since I was a kid, I like to play with boys since I was a kid, they can't run me, I really ran super fast in elementary school, or the track and field team." For a while I was particularly rebellious, I didn't wear children's clothes, I wore adult clothes to school every day, and the teacher watched the headache and died. My aunt is a very fashionable person, I didn't wear a school uniform when I was in the fifth grade of elementary school, I wore my aunt's clothes every day, wide-legged pants and thick-soled shoes to school, and then there would be that kind of little sister who was older than me in the sixth grade, pulled me to the small back garden, I thought they were going to do something, and they said to me: "The vest on your body borrow me to wear!" From today I cover you! "There is such a thing... I forgot about these things, but there really is such a thing. I really wasn't that kind of little princess since I was a kid, but I had that kind of experiment when I was growing up, so I felt like it should be stopped, and it wasn't about being myself at all.

07 What has changed you by participating in The Voice of China?

Work and psychological state will change more largely, if you live, when you are not working, your life state can still be the same as before.

The difference in work is relatively large, I used to be an independent musician by myself, from writing to production to acting, everything had to be finalized by myself. After writing the song, I want to find a way to find friends to make with myself, from editing to recording these are all decided by myself, if you perform, you may have to send dozens of hundreds of emails to find, find a place to perform and call them to push my things, ask them if they want me to act, maybe only a few people will answer my phone all day, and even fewer people will be willing to let me perform. In this middle there will be a lot of links, if you want to push them, first of all, you have to have your own website, that is, the website must also find a way to do it yourself, and the publicity on the network social media must all be done by yourself, that is, from the artist to the assistant to the publicity to everything, you must get it right yourself. When you go to the performance, if you have taken a train for nearly two hours, you must bring your own microphone line, and all the scores for the band must be printed by yourself. This is really the case in foreign countries, in this process I really learned a lot of things, really quite hard, but also a lot of gains. It's okay for a short time, but if you want to do this for five years and ten years, it's really not easy, so at that time, after I experienced this, I also had thoughts, because I really wanted to make music, if I really wanted to live on this, it would be okay, but it would really be more difficult.

Later, when the director of the good voice came to Australia, he found me, because many independent musicians would be very reluctant to take that mainstream or more commercial road, at the beginning I would think like that, but after slowly putting down my own prejudices, I began to reason with myself, I absolutely can not shake some of the bottom line is what is it, the music is good or good, other flexible things that I can discuss can be flexible, so that when I look at it again, I feel that it is actually consistent. The opportunity that Good Voice was able to offer me was actually not in conflict with some of my own guidelines. And then just like that came to participate in the good voice. The change in the work is that now I am no longer fighting alone, and there is a company and a work team working with me, which is a very special thing. There are naturally more job opportunities than before, and there are opportunities that were not available before to contact some people and some platforms that were not accessible before. There are also some changes in the psychological state, after all, before you were not a public figure, all you have can be completely free to express, but now is a public figure, you may have to consider a little more, every word you say, your words and deeds, the sense of responsibility behind it may be heavier.

08 What's the most rebellious thing you've ever done? If you restore your own adolescent experience, what is a personal memory that you would prefer to compile into the script?

The most rebellious thing I've ever done may not sound interesting, but to be honest it's really my insistence on music. I used to be really a good kid, I used to go to the best elementary and middle schools, and the university was also a 211, 985 college, but after I graduated, I tried to do other jobs that had nothing to do with music, sitting in the office, I felt like I was about to suffocate. Later, a friend introduced me to a recording studio in Chengdu for 1,000 yuan a month. Others will say, "What are you going to do as a college graduate, and why are you doing this way?" But I said, "I'm learning what I want to learn, and someone else gives me money back, don't you think you've never heard of such a thing?" ”。 It is that this rebellion may not be a thing, and the tree grows bigger and bigger within me, until the back there is no way to suppress it. Later, I always felt that I had to continue my studies in music, so I applied to a foreign school on my own, and later even won the support of my family, and then I went back to study music for undergraduate studies. It wasn't a mischievous rebellion, it was a really serious experience of rebellion.

09 What were your dreams as a girl, and did they all come true?

I had hoped to meet someone like Kaede Ryugawa in my life, and then he would become the boyfriend who loved me all my life, and this dream was never realized (laughs). Dreams that have been fulfilled... I really wanted to be a star, but I didn't expect to be an artist myself, and I realized it.

10 What are your wishes for 2016?

I hope that I can continue to learn and improve in music, because it is my profession. In terms of performance, if you have the opportunity, you can continue to learn to hone, and I hope that there are new musical works that can be given to everyone. If you have the opportunity to perform, of course, I hope to encounter interesting works to bring to you.

11 What do you think of "singing and acting, acting and singing"?

I think it's always a good thing to expand yourself and tap your potential in different fields. Of course, singing and acting are not as far away as singing and hurdles, and singing and hurdles may not be so easy to expand. Many actors will try to sing, many singers will try to act, itself belongs to the deductive category, I think such a new attempt, if successful, you may find that you will have your own unconscious potential in this regard; if there is no success, then such an attempt will also be an experience, but also a kind of inspiration for their own professional inspiration.

12 What is something you believed in in your early years and still deeply doubt?

The thing that you believed in in the early years was that "you must learn everything early, especially music and musical instruments, and any specialty should be grasped from the child, the sooner the better." If you go to learn violin at the age of ten, others may think that you are old, and they all say that you should go to school at the age of five. Of course, from the physiological and growth curve, of course, learning as a child is your undeniable innate advantage, but for the learning itself, what I now recognize is that there is no age limit. As long as you have enough desire to learn, you can start learning at any time, and this is what I know now. So the difference from what I knew when I was a child was really quite big, because it had something to do with my own experience and something I saw. Like Grandma Moses, who was eighty years old abroad, she began to paint at the age of eighty and became a painter. In order to find the beginning of life again, some homeless people abroad also began to paint at the age of thirty or forty, and also became amazing painters. There are also twenty-four-year-old girls who want to learn violin, spend two years recording their practice from scratch every day, and two years later her performance is also amazing. Adults also have some advantages, because the age brings him the ability to understand, logical thinking is very strong, if you use these to learn a new skill, you just need to really dive down, there is really no problem.

13 Have you changed your perception of yourself before and after you became famous?

I think that from some external abilities, I may become more marginal or more flexible than before, and I may have been more rigid before; but deep inside I feel that it has not changed. Like I just said, my life state is the same when I don't have a job. I still prefer to live in a quiet state, when I am alone next to my bed or my workbench. What I want in my heart is still the same as before.
