The excavation of this cultural relic is an important physical evidence for studying the culture, politics, economy and cultural exchanges between the East and the West on the Silk Road during the Tang Dynasty and zhejiang in Yunhe and Zhejiang, which is of great value.

The cup body is coated with melasma glaze, green glaze and white glaze, and the color is extremely colorful and has strong exotic cultural characteristics.
"After our on-site rescue excavation, 6 artifacts were unearthed, one of which was taken back to the warehouse for cleaning, and after the preliminary conclusion of experts, it was Tang Sancai who came to tong cup. We were all very shocked that the artifacts could be unearthed in the clouds. According to Qiu Changqi, a cultural conservator of the County Cultural Relics Protection Center, the "Tang Sancai Laitong Cup" is 14 centimeters long and about 7.4 centimeters high. The cup is covered with milk nail patterns, decorated with gentle and natural curly grass patterns, which reflect the unique colors of Tang Sancai and exude a charming and elegant atmosphere. According to the data, this cultural relic is similar to a kind of beast cup popular in West Asia, which should be created by the craftsmen of the Tang Dynasty at that time due to the influence of foreign culture. The Tang Sancai Laitong Cup was a drinking tool and a burial vessel in the tombs of the dignitaries and nobles at that time.
The reporter learned from Chen Minghui, deputy director of the Prehistoric Archaeology Office of the Institute of Archaeology of Zhejiang Province, that the Tang Sancai Laitong Cup first appeared in West Asia in 500 BC, and at the time of the Six Dynasties, it spread to China through the Silk Road, and tang Sancai of the Tang Dynasty was relatively rare in the southern region, and such an artifact appeared in Yunhe, indicating that the exchanges between the East and the West were very close at that time, which may be related to trade.
"We consulted the relevant information, in Houwangzhuang Village, Zhengzhou, Henan, in 1976 unearthed the same style of cup, now in the Henan Museum. The appearance of this cup shows that the owner of the Tang tomb attaches great importance to cultural exchanges, especially with the north and south. It also shows that the owner of the tomb has a certain social status, because such artifacts were very precious at that time.
