Starting today, five pilot stations in Beijing, name Tiantongyuan North, Tiantongyuan South, Huoying and Huilongguan East Avenue, will open fast-track access channels for real-name regular passengers. Beijing Evening News (ID: wxbjwb) reporter noted that many passengers carry backpacks exceed the size limit, so real-name entry still needs to go through the security check.

At 7:45 a.m., outside the subway Tiantongyuan South Station, the passenger flow in the station began to rise. The reporter noted that the outside of the station is divided into two channels, green represents the real-name entry channel, and orange represents the security inspection channel. Real-name regular passengers who have completed registration, open the Beijing Pass app before entering the station, click on the subway xinyixing page, and show the page of successful opening, you can bypass the diversion fence and directly enter the station quickly.

Compared with the security inspection channel, the pit stop time can be saved by about 2 minutes.

Next to the security inspection channel in the station, a special "brushing channel" is also set up for regular passengers. When passing through the passage, passengers only need to face the gate screen of the dedicated passage, do not need to remove the mask, just take off the hat, adjust the mask appropriately, expose the bridge of the nose, eyes, forehead, etc., and can pass through the special passage.

When the validation is successful, the channel gate illuminates with a green cue light. "You can identify it without taking off your mask, so it's still very convenient to go through the security check." Passenger Ms. Zhang said.

Subsequently, the reporter came to the B exit of Tiantongyuan Station, and the station also set up a special real-name system channel. However, the station does not have a special fast entry channel for real-name regular passengers, and passengers still need to bypass the diversion fence during the morning rush hour if they do not make an appointment to enter the station in advance. During peak pit stops, within 3 minutes, 73 passengers entered the station through the real-name tunnel.

It should be noted that in order to ensure safety, real-name regular passengers who carry items larger than 30 cm × 15 cm × 20 cm in size still need to cooperate with the security check of the goods. At the same time, the station staff will also conduct spot checks on some real-name regular passengers. This morning rush hour, many passengers carrying large backpacks to walk through the real-name passage were stopped and needed to go through the security check again.

How do I apply for the "Real Name Frequent Passenger Express Pit Stop Service"?

On December 10, 2021, Beijing Metro launched the online registration of "Real-Name Regular Passenger Rapid Entry Service" at five pilot stations of Tiantongyuan North, Tiantongyuan, Tiantongyuan South, Huoying and Huilongguan East Avenue. Passengers can download the Beijing Pass APP and apply in the "Metro Xinyixing" module.

Applicants for real-name regular passengers shall abide by national laws and regulations, be honest and trustworthy, and have no acts that endanger public safety and social order or other inappropriate circumstances; and ride 10 times or more per month at selected stations. After the "Real-name Regular Passenger Express Inbound Service" is activated, the system will automatically re-examine the qualifications of real-name regular passengers at the beginning of each month. After passing the re-inspection, passengers can continue to enjoy the "real-name regular passenger fast-track service".
