The story of the Red Army's Long March must have been heard a lot, flying across the Dadu River, climbing snow-capped mountains and crossing meadows, and the hardships of the Long March could not be endured by ordinary people.
At that time, the Red Army's Long March team gathered sons and daughters from the north and south of the world, some of them were of noble status, some of them were born in the cold door, some of them were well-off, and some of them had no father and no mother. No matter what kind of identity, when they threw themselves into the Long March mission, they were ready to face the harsh environment.
However, the external environment is already so harsh, there is one person whose long march is a hundred times harder than others, and this person is Liao Chengzhi. At that time, Liao Chengzhi was charged with "secret agent" for pointing out Zhang Guotao's "Z" mistake, and people questioned the strong family background behind him at that time. In this way, Liao Chengzhi, who was only 25 years old, was handcuffed and began the Long March.
After becoming a famous person, Liao Chengzhi grew up in a rich environment, and he never suffered from hunger or frostbite, let alone walked thousands of miles through the mountains with handcuffs. And a trip to the Long March allowed him to taste all the hardships. Fortunately, he was tenacious and ambitious, and finally came out of this adventure.
Liao Chengzhi, the fourth duke of the Republic of China, was born in the gate of the elders of the National Government, and his father Liao Zhongkai was a powerful assistant of Dr. Sun Yat-sen who helped establish the Whampoa Military Academy. In promoting the agenda of cooperation between the two parties, Liao Zhongkai has made an indispensable contribution. His mother, He Xiangning, was also a veteran of the Nationalist government and one of the founders of the feminist movement, who assisted Sun Yat-sen in establishing the Republic of China.
Born in 1908 in Taitaibao, Tokyo, Japan, Liao Chengzhi often followed his mother to the mainland, Tokyo and Hong Kong as a child. In the early years, Liao Chengzhi also traveled and lived in Germany, the Netherlands and other places, which not only broadened his horizons, but also gave him the ability to speak several languages.
His parents were revolutionaries and had been involved in the revolutionary movement for many years, so Liao Chengzhi understood the great righteousness of the nation from an early age. He joined the Nationalist government in 1924 and wanted to dedicate his share to the cause of the revolution. Unfortunately, the Nationalist government at that time betrayed its faith, and coupled with the assassination of his father Liao Zhongkai, Liao Chengzhi was angry and broke away from the Nationalist Government.
Later, Liao Chengzhi entered Waseda University in Japan. At that time, Liao Chengzhi was a young man with full of enthusiasm, where he met many like-minded people and learned advanced ideas by participating in various community organizations.
At that time, the country was being invaded by Japanese imperialism, and the Japanese army brutally slaughtered the Chinese people. The outbreak of the "Jinan Incident" shocked Liao Chengzhi, who was in Japan.
In Tokyo, Chinese students began demonstrations, and Liao Chengzhi was arrested three times by Japanese police for posting slogans against them and often fighting, until he was expelled from Waseda University and repatriated.
Liao Chengzhi always had a sense of home and country in his heart, when the country was in the midst of war, he could have studied in Japan and could have avoided experiencing the war. However, seeing that his compatriots were brutally killed and his homeland was facing destruction, Liao Chengzhi could not be left alone. For him, being expelled from school may not be a bad thing, because he can return to his country to participate in the war of resistance and save his compatriots who are suffering.
After Liao Chengzhi returned to China, he immediately joined our party. After returning to China, life did not go as smoothly as Liao Chengzhi imagined, when the relationship between the two parties fell to a freezing point, and the Nationalist government was arresting our party members everywhere. At that time, Liao Chengzhi was in an important position in our party, and he was the target of the National Government's key arrests.
At first, Liao Chengzhi was arrested by the national agents for betrayal by his colleagues. Fortunately, Liao Chengzhi was intelligent and flexible, and he was caught by the secret agents, and using clever tricks, he led the agents to find the residence of his mother He Xiangning, and finally he was successfully rescued.
In September 1933, Liao Chengzhi joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet District. Liao Chengzhi himself was very knowledgeable and had his own unique views on the revolutionary cause, which made him stand out in the party. In only half a year, he was promoted to secretary general of the General Political Department of the Fourth Red Army.
Liao Chengzhi is talented and capable, and can be appreciated by his superiors. However, in dealing with people, perhaps influenced by foreign ideas, he is not good at talking in a roundabout way, nor will he bow to power. He openly pointed out the mistake of Zhang Guotao's "Z", was expelled from the party, and was forced to complete the Long March with handcuffs.
At that time, it was not only Liao Chengzhi who was escorted by Zhang Guotao, some people were framed for stolen goods, and some people were opposed to Zhang's political ideas, including Luo Shiguang, Xu Yixin, and others.
Unlike other Red Army soldiers, they not only had to climb snowy mountains and meadows to withstand the harshest tests, but they were also constantly under surveillance, and they could not be free physically and mentally. Liao Chengzhi was even more difficult, and he still had to march in handcuffs.
Despite the difficult conditions of the march, Liao Chengzhi threw himself into his work. On the twenty-five-thousand-mile Long March, the Red Army must do ideological propaganda work in every place it goes. The Red Army propagated revolutionary ideas to the local people by writing big characters, singing songs, and pasting propaganda posters, most of which were written by Liao Chengzhi.
Later, according to Liao Chengzhi's comrade-in-arms, "At that time, he worked very seriously, marching dozens of miles every day, and others returned to the camp and slept upside down, and he still worked under the oil lamp until late at night." It can be seen that Liao Chengzhi is not only capable, but also has a good mentality. Ordinary intellectuals who have been wronged may have long been depressed.
Liao Chengzhi was very tenacious, not only resisting the test of the Long March, but also working harder than others to dedicate his strength to the cause of the revolution. He can be reused by our Party, relying not only on knowledge, but also on the will of steel.
After going through hardships, he was finally saved by the general understanding
Liao Chengzhi actually has a deep relationship with the prime minister. When his father, Liao Zhongkai, was at the Whampoa Military Academy, he was very appreciative of the premier, and the family had very close contacts with the premier, and Liao Chengzhi affectionately called the premier "Brother". With such a relationship, when the prime minister saw Liao Chengzhi's difficult situation, he naturally wanted to help him.
In September 1936, the Red Fourth Army arrived at the Yellow River, and the prime minister, who was then the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, went down to inspect the troops and happened to see Liao Chengzhi standing in the Red Army unit with handcuffs. Just by looking at the prime minister, he understood Liao Chengzhi's situation, and at that time, he just squeezed Liao Chengzhi's hand and left immediately.
That night, Liao Chengzhi was called to the headquarters, and in front of Zhang Guotao and others, the prime minister pretended to be full of anger and said: "Liao Chengzhi, have you reflected on your mistakes?" Liao replied, "Reflect." "Change it or not?" "Reform" "If you change, you are a good comrade, and Chairman Zhang still welcomes you." "
In this way, under the good offices of the Prime Minister, there was room for change. Zhang Guotao had planned to execute Liao Chengzhi, but when he saw the premier speaking for himself, he felt that he had a lot of face, and the anger in his heart had been reduced by more than half. This happiness ordered that Liao Chengzhi would not be executed again.
After going through hardships, we are fortunate to be saved by total understanding, otherwise this suffering will not know when it will be the head. After this time, it is estimated that Liao Chengzhi also has a long memory, and in the future, he will talk and do things in the official field, and there is no need to fight against others. Especially if someone else is more powerful than you, even if he makes more mistakes, don't point them out on the surface. Using more brains is faster than being straight-talking.
This time, he was saved by the general understanding and escaped, Liao Chengzhi was already grateful to the premier in his heart, what he did not expect was that he would later owe the prime minister a favor.
In the special period, countless revolutionary righteous soldiers were plotted against, and Liao Chengzhi was also one of them. Liao Chengzhi is from the National Government, coupled with study experience, and many Hong Kong and Macao compatriots have maintained close relations for many years, when the special period broke out, he was naturally doomed.
Later, Liao Chengzhi was not criticized, but lived in Zhongnanhai to "write inspections" and was supervised by foreign offices, all thanks to the help of the premier. Although constantly under surveillance, Liao Chengzhi did not suffer much physically and mentally. And during the crime, he also participated in Sino-Japanese trade negotiations.
Liao Chengzhi studied in Japan in his early years, not only can speak fluent Japanese, but also has a good understanding of the local culture, politics and economy. As an envoy for Sino-Japanese exchanges, Liao Chengzhi has made a contribution to promoting Sino-Japanese friendly relations by virtue of his own ability.
Later, with the collapse of the four-member team, Liao Chengzhi also regained his freedom and began his political career. In Liao Chengzhi's life, he was saved twice by the general understanding, although he experienced hardships, it was fortunate to have the help of nobles, which was the blessing of Liao Chengzhi's life.
