Ji Fuji, a member of the Communist Party of China, a national first-class screenwriter, a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association, has successively served as the secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Cement Factory in Shangluo District, the deputy head and head of the Shangluo Theater Troupe, the chief of the art section of the Shangluo Cultural Bureau, the vice president and president of the Xi'an Yi Folk Society, the vice chairman and secretary general of the Xi'an Dramatists Association, and the researcher of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government Museum of Culture and History.
Ji Fuji was born in 1942 in Shangzhou, Shaanxi Province, to a poor family, lost his parents since childhood, and lived with his grandmother from an early age. In 1953, his grandmother's death left him without his only relative in the world. At that time, when he was only 12 years old and had not yet graduated from primary school, he felt that he had no one to rely on, and in order to make a living, he and two friends crossed the Qinling Mountains to Xi'an in the cold winter moon. After wandering in Xi'an for a few days, he was retrieved to Shangzhou. At that time, the leaders of the Shangluo Cultural and Industrial Troupe saw that he was a seedling who studied drama and recruited him into the troupe.
After entering the regiment, Ji Fu Ji was eager to learn the skills. In 1954, in order to excavate the Shangluo flower drum drama, the government decided to invite the flower drum artist Liu Quanxing and others into the troupe to teach flower drums and Taoist love dramas to ji Fuji and other small actors. In 1956, Gao Fuzhong of the Xi'an Yi Folk Society, Yang Zhenyi, the drum master, wang Xingmin, and the actor Wang Xingmin, as well as the Peking Opera coach Bai Xiaoting, were transferred to the Shangluo Opera Troupe, and the young Ji Fuji, under the guidance of these artists, learned a variety of drama categories such as Qin Cavity, Peking Opera, Drama, Flower Drum, and Daoqing, laying a solid foundation for his artistic career.
At the age of 15 (1957), Ji Fuji played the role of Class Cai in the Shangluo Dao drama "One Piece of Money" and participated in the performances of the five northwestern provinces and regions. Although it was his first performance, it was a great success and made him a little famous. In 1959, the play was filmed by the Western Film Studio into China's first opera art film, and Ji Fuji soon became an actor on stage and film and television. As a young man, he successively portrayed Hu Shan, the protagonist of "Butcher Zhuangyuan", Nan Youyu in "Liujin County Governor", one of the protagonists of "Zhuangyuan and Beggars", and Hu Jin in Qin Cavity's "Chuncao Breaking Into the Hall".
In the 1960s, Ji Fuji went to the countryside to participate in social education work, and he came into contact with many people at the lowest level of society in his life, enriching his life experience. He immersed himself in the study of drama creation, and directed such popular theatrical works as "Red Sisters", "Song of the Same Bell Race", and "Red Stonemason".
In 1972, JiFuji transferred to shangluo district cement factory as the secretary of the youth league committee, in 1973 transferred to the shangluo regional creative group, in 1975 as the deputy head of the shangluo troupe, in the same year became a member of the Chinese dramatists association, in 1977 to create a medium-sized Shangluo Daoqing modern drama "The Ballad of Qingshan", and was selected as a provincial tune-up repertoire to perform at the Xi'an People's Theatre, which received praise. In 1978, he became the head of the Shangluo Theater Troupe. At this time, at the end of the "Cultural Revolution", Ji Fuji, as the leader of the troupe, knew the importance of creative talents. He ran around calling for rehabilitation for the screenwriters Liu Anmin and Tian Jingzhi, who were in prison! After the two were released from prison, he transferred Chen Zhengqing and his wife, who worked in the Luonan Troupe, to the creative group of the Shangluo Troupe. What kind of repertoire to create after the talent gathers is in front of them. At his suggestion, the first draft of Liu Anmin's revision of the "Three Cold Bridges" before the "Cultural Revolution" was discussed, and after receiving the support of liu futang, the old regimental commander, and his colleagues, it was decided to form a creative group with Liu Anmin as the mainstay and Tian Jingzhi, Liu Futang, and Chen Zhengqing as the participants, and to pool their wisdom and efforts to learn from each other's strong points and complement each other's weaknesses. The script was quickly created, and after the performance of "Xianbao Zhuangyuan", Yu Xun, the former director of the Provincial Cultural Bureau, went to Shangluo to see it and excitedly named the play "Butcher Zhuangyuan". After the premiere of the drama "Tu", the provincial party committee decided to make the drama from the Xi'an Film Studio into an opera Meido art film. The Shangluo flower drum play "Butcher Zhuangyuan" was recorded and broadcast by Shaanxi People's Radio. The play was starred by Ji Fuji, and at that time, the "Tu" drama was performed in a grand manner, and according to the statistics of the Ministry of Culture, in addition to Taiwan and Tibet, all provinces, cities and counties across the country transplanted the play. The Ministry of Culture allocated special funds to let the main creators of the Shangluo Theater Troupe go to various places to see it, so as to encourage the production of new works.
In the autumn of 1981, when Ji Fuji led the troupe to perform in Jiaodai Town, Lantian County, the autumn rains were continuous, the roads were blocked, and the members of the troupe lived in peasants' homes for more than ten days. Faced with reality, he thought that if we did not pay attention to the problem of helping the poor, the consequences would be worrying. Therefore, he made a long-distance telephone call to chen Zhengqing, who was deeply involved in life in the Henan commune of Danfeng County, to rush to Lantian, and Chen Zhengqing got out of the county seat and braved the rain to walk to Jiaodai Town, where the two of them earnestly talked about how to write a great drama praising cadres for helping the poor and helping the poor. Chen Zhengqing said with deep feeling that he and Tai also felt the same kind of problems in their deep lives. Therefore, under his auspices, through the study of the league committee, it was decided that Chen Zhengqing and Tian Jingzhi would compose the script, and the director Wu Yu and the composer Xin Shushan would form a creative group of sincere cooperation. Less than a year later, the modern drama "Six Jin County Chief" finally met with the audience. Pu Ke, manager of the People's Theatre, invited the play to Xi'an and organized the audience to sell tickets for the performance, which lasted for more than 3 months, and the venue was full. In the spring of 1983, "Liujin County Governor" went to Beijing to perform for the central leaders' report at Huairen Hall in Zhongnanhai, and the head of the central committee took the stage to receive all the cast members and take a group photo, and the next day the General Office of the State Council conveyed the evaluation of the central leading comrades after watching the play: "On the issue of poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation, the artist did the work of a politician. He also decided to set off from Beijing to tour the major provincial capitals of Tianjin, Shanghai, Han and other major provinces in the north and south of the river, and the province and city where the play went were praised by the audience. Ji Fuji's carefully shaped disabled old farmer Nan Youyu was selected by the China Academy of Performing Arts as the content of modern opera performance textbooks with his unique artistic image and unique dwarf dance. Shortly after returning to Shangluo on the tour, he voluntarily resigned from the position of the head of the troupe and immersed himself in acting and writing plays. In 1984, he created "The Soul of Qin Figurines", and in the same year, he was seconded to the China Opera and Dance Theater. In the winter of 1985, he was appointed head of the arts section of the Shangluo Cultural Bureau. After taking office, in order to grasp the creation of the whole region, he ran between the regional theater troupe and several county theater troupes, and was busy with the production of people and the discovery and support of new people for the construction of the theater creation team.
In 1986, Ji Fuji was transferred to Xi'an Yi Folk Society as vice president. In 1990, Ji Fuji was appointed president of the Yi Folk Society. At that time, the whole drama was at a low ebb, and the Yi Folk Society was no exception. In addition, after the merger of the Yi Folk Society and the Shangyou Society in 1971, by the early 1980s, the Yi Folk Society was revived again. Although he is famous, his vitality is seriously injured. The issues of the artistic environment, performance equipment and talents were all placed in front of Ji Fuji. When the state carried out the restructuring of public institutions, the difference in appropriations of the drama club was reduced from 80% to 40%, and at that time, as the head of the drama club, he ran all day for the survival of the drama club.
In addition to his busy work, he immersed himself in learning the writing techniques of the older generation such as the famous playwrights Fan Zidong, Sun Renyu, and Chang Nanshen, and at the same time, he made a serious study of the Qin art that became the originator of Chinese opera. Therefore, he organically integrated "mountain culture" and "urban culture" into his artistic creation in his deep understanding. He gave full play to his expertise and mobilized the artistic resources and talent advantages of the century-old drama company, and successively adapted the Qin cavity TV short drama "Zhentai Reading" and "Drunken Mountain Gate" for the Spring Festival Gala of CCTV Channel 11, and created and performed the Qin cavity classical short drama "Baitai" for "Joke about the Three Kingdoms". In the same year, he co-wrote the large-scale Qin classical drama "Li Ling Monument" with the veteran artist Wang Xiamin and the Qin cavity author Liu Fumin, which participated in the Shaanxi Provincial Arts Festival and won the Script Award. At the same time, he was selected by the cultural officials of the city of Goethemonte in West Germany to perform a friendly performance in West Germany from September 4 to October of the same year. On the eve of the departure, the trip was not possible due to the merger of East and West Germany.
In 2000, the China Drama Association selected 50 traditional and excellent plays representing the national drama genre as a national opera collection.
