On April 25th, the 9th China Chitin Science and Technology Conference and Science and Technology and Industrial Development Forum opened in Rizhao, Shandong Province, Du Yumin, director of the Chitin Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and professor of the School of Resources and Environmental Sciences of Wuhan University, Wang Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to attend, and Xu Shuli, vice mayor of Rizhao, attended and spoke.
The event was jointly organized by Rizhao Science and Technology Bureau and Donggang District People's Government, and more than 160 experts from the field of chitin and more than 90 industry enterprise leaders from the country will jointly exchange and discuss relevant research in the field of chitin at home and abroad in two days. At the event site, Wuhan University, the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other colleges and universities, scientific research institutes signed contracts with relevant enterprises in our city, according to the agreement, the two sides will carry out industry-university-research cooperation in agricultural science and technology, biomedicine and other aspects to jointly help the high-quality development of Rizhao.
It is understood that the development of the marine industry in Rizhao City has distinctive characteristics, and the raw materials for the preparation of chitin are sufficient, and the convening of this conference will effectively promote the construction of a chitin industry development cluster in Rizhao and achieve high-quality development of the marine industry.
