Boyhood

Eric Clapton was born in Ripley, Surrey, England, where Clapton was raised by his grandmother, who as a child agreed that his grandmother was his biological mother, until he discovered the secret at the age of 9. In middle school, he attended Serbeton.

On his 13th birthday, he received a gift – a steel-string guitar. He tried hard to practice with the cassette machine, but he found it so difficult to play the instrument that he almost gave up. After graduating from secondary school, he took the Foundation of Arts course at kingston college of art (the predecessor of Kingston University) in 1962.

A year later, he did not insist on completing his studies and left school. During that period, he began performing street performances in areas such as Kingston and Richmond on the Thames.

Youth

When it comes to electric guitar playing, we must mention blues music; when we think of the greatest guitar player, the first thing that comes to mind is Jimi Hendrix, but when it comes to the greatest guitarist who is still alive, there is only one name - Sir Eric Clapton.

Since blues rock and blues guitar playing became the dominant rock style in the 1960s, among all the blues guitarists of all skin tones other than black, the legend Eric Clapton is undoubtedly the most prominent of all the guitarists of all skin tones other than black.

After all the artists of Eric Clapton's contemporaries passed away one after another, or lost their original fan appeal, Eric Clapton was one of the few artists among all these artists who still maintained his superb playing skills and strong market appeal.

Eric Clapton is humble and always humble when compared to other great guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Duane Allman, and even his junior Stevie Ray Vaughan, always humble when compared to B.B. King, along with Bob Dylan and others, is always very courteous when he is on the same stage, and he is one of the most gentlemanly pop musicians.

At the same time, as the world's most famous guitar master, Eric Clapton often enthusiastically helps other musicians, including the famous British pop musician Sting, Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora, to record albums or shoot music videos, and often accompanies some musicians as guitarists.

Eric Clapton has assisted Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Joe Cocker, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Freddie King, Roger Waters and nearly a hundred other artists on album recordings.

Musical career

In 1963, 1965, 1966, 1969, and 1970, Clapton joined six bands that had made his musical career (The Yardbirds, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers), Cream, Blind Faith, Deryney and Bonnie and Friends" Delaney and Bonnie and Friends" (Del and the Dominos)
