The "Epitaph of Yuan Teng", or "Epitaph of Yuan Teng and Wife Cheng Fazhu", the original title of the "Epitaph of Yuan Teng, The Colonel of the Old City Gate of the Great Wei Dynasty", was engraved on November 9, the second year of the Northern Wei Shengui (519 AD).
