The reporter learned from the press conference of the "Commemoration of the 350th Anniversary of Rongbaozhai" held in Beijing a few days ago that the series of commemorative activities include holding academic special exhibitions and cultural and academic forums, releasing a series of commemorative videos, setting up a cultural and artistic public welfare fund, and launching a series of publications.
Rongbaozhai formerly known as "Songzhu Zhai", was founded in the eleventh year of the Qing Kangxi Dynasty (1672), renamed "Rongbaozhai" in 1894, through the transformation and development of calligraphy and painting business, stationery supplies, woodblock watermarking, mounting restoration, auction pawn, publishing, exhibition, education and other related cultures in one, known as "calligraphers and painters's home", "folk Forbidden City" and "national gallery" reputation.
In order to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Rongbaozhai in 2022, the "Rongbaozhai 350th Anniversary Historical Documentary Exhibition", "Rongbaozhai 350th Anniversary Collection of Art Treasures Special Exhibition", "Southern Zhangbeiqi Art Exhibition", as well as the Invitation Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces, the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Works Invitation Exhibition, etc.; a series of commemorative videos will also be released one after another, and the famous artists, cultural scholars, collectors and "Rongbaozhai people" will return to the historical scene and pay tribute to traditional culture and art by telling vivid art stories; a series of famous lecture halls will also be launched. Art forums, academic publications, etc., to strengthen the research and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture and art. In addition, the "Rongbaozhai Culture and Art Public Welfare Fund" will be set up to establish a long-term mechanism for public aesthetic education.
The relevant person in charge of China Publishing Group said that through a series of commemorative activities, the development process of China's excellent traditional culture will be systematically reviewed and summarized, and the national culture and art will be better promoted, so that the resounding national cultural brand of Rongbaozhai will come alive and go out.
