It turned out that the criminal suspect Bao Mou was the owner of a small restaurant, and due to business needs, he often went to Kong's vegetable shop to buy vegetables. Often, Kong Mou did not have a defensive heart for it, so Bao Mou had the idea of "taking advantage of the small advantage" and put it into action. In the end, Bao admitted to the fact that he had repeatedly stolen vegetables from Kong's store, and was investigated by the Ao Hanqi Public Security Bureau on the grounds of multiple thefts and transferred to the Ao Hanqi People's Procuratorate for review and arrest.

Article 264 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China
[Crime of theft] Whoever steals public or private property in a relatively large amount, or who steals, steals into the home, steals with a murder weapon, or pickpockets multiple times, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance, and shall also be fined or fined alone; if the amount is huge or has other serious circumstances, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years and shall also be fined; if the amount is particularly large or there are other particularly serious circumstances, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than ten years or life imprisonment, and shall also be fined or have his property confiscated.
