It is the busy annual autumn harvest season for rice. All parts of Jiangsu organized forces to take advantage of the good weather to grab the harvest and ensure that the particles were returned to the warehouse. Among them, various new technologies have also helped a lot.

In the golden autumn of October, the rice is fragrant. At the Yellow Sea Farm in Yancheng's Xiangshui County, large harvesters are shuttling back and forth through the fields to harvest rice. It is understood that in order to ensure stable production and increase income, the farm has adopted advanced agricultural machinery and high-yield and high-quality seedlings for cultivation this year.
Jin Xiaoqi, head of the Sino-German Cooperation Demonstration Park at Yancheng Xiangshui Yellow Sea Farm, said: "By adopting the model of dry water planting for rice, we will improve the protection of soil structure. In addition, we select some high-yielding and high-quality varieties in terms of variety selection. ”
Xiangshui is a large grain producing county in Jiangsu, with a perennial rice sowing area of more than 500,000 mu. This year, the county has innovated land preparation methods and improved planting models on the basis of actively promoting standardized rice production. To further improve the quality of grain production capacity and agricultural development, it is expected that the yield per mu of land will increase by 100 to 150 jin compared with last year.
At present, 2.688 million mu of autumn ripening rice in Xuzhou has also entered the best harvest period. The agricultural department of Xuzhou City recalled 7,000 combine harvesters operating across regions in other places, and coordinated 2,000 combine harvesters from other places to raid and harvest, and strive to achieve a mature batch and harvest a batch. The newly built 19 integrated agricultural service centers also provide one-stop grain collection services for farmers.
Jia Qiang, vice chairman of a comprehensive agricultural service center in Xuzhou City, said: "Collecting and storing the fresh grain of the people, we dry and sell it ourselves. Our current price is relatively slightly higher than in the general market. The people are also very willing. ”
In The Jiangyan district of Taizhou, driverless harvesters have become a good helper for the autumn harvest. The unmanned harvester control system reduces the intensity of manual work and is suitable for long-term operation. It can also realize the functions of rice and wheat threshing, straw crushing, automatic grain unloading, etc., which greatly improves the harvesting efficiency.
