HeungKong Social Aid Foundation was established by HeungKong Group on June 14, 2005, is China's first state-level non-public charity foundation, Heungkong Social Assistance Foundation under the leadership of founder Zhai Meiqing, focusing on education, poverty alleviation, relief, disaster relief, insisting on helping people of concern. In 2021, the Heung Kong Social Assistance Foundation launched the Meimei and Gonggong Art Program, which aims to develop Chinese contemporary culture and art based on traditional culture, explore cultural exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, help the cultivation and development of Chinese children's art education, promote cultural and artistic innovation, and respond to and practice the road of rural revitalization with art.
Nima Zeren, a librarian of the Central Research Museum of Culture and History and vice chairman of the China Artists Association, joined hands with the Xiangjiang Social Assistance Foundation to donate 300,000 yuan to the People's Government of Juyuan Town, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The donation is used as a special fund for the HeungKong Social Assistance Foundation's Beauty and Common Arts Program to enhance and promote the rural cultural revitalization project in Juyuan Town.
"The First Village of Chinese Painters" is located in Juyuan Town, Yingxiang Community, Zoma River, has a rich historical heritage, its unique natural landscape makes it from ancient times to the present are deeply loved by literati and inkers, this rural cultural revitalization project to green, ecological as the entry point, and strive to build an integrated development of art culture and rural tourism.
The funds for the Meimei & Gong Art Program were used for the renovation and lighting of the pavement and river power station in the Painters' Village in Juyuan Town, as well as the renovation of the Painters' Bookstore. The roads in the original painter's village are relatively dark at night, and the street lights are gray, which is a safety hazard for pedestrians traveling at night. The project upgraded the existing road lighting equipment and pavement of the painter's village, adding 600 meters of light strips while renovating the wall, and customizing 7 laser projection lamps of "the first village of Chinese painters", which were placed on the electric pile on the side of the farmland, lighting up the road and increasing the mood of night walking.
Painter Village along the river power station belongs to the node of the painter village, with a wide water surface, by the river there is a lush nan wood forest, now the facilities and equipment are old, the environmental health is out of place, juyuan town government uses the funds of the Meimei and Gong art plan to upgrade the environmental transformation of the dam area of the power station, so that it can be integrated into the painter village after the transformation.
In addition to the renovation of the Bright Project, led by the Juyuan Town Government, an idle house on the side of the road of the painter was transformed into a painter's book house with artistic atmosphere, providing villagers with free reading of various types of books, which greatly enriched the spiritual world of the villagers.
The road of rural cultural revitalization in Juyuan Town reflects the cultural resource endowment with the painter village as the core, fully activates the rich cultural heritage, focuses on building a painter village as the center, develops the cultural tourism industry, drives the integrated development of the villagers' cultural tourism, and embarks on a new road of rural revitalization.
