A few days ago, the driving line of sight obtained a set of interior spy photos of the new Mercedes-Benz GLE from relevant channels. As a mid-term modification, the new car will be officially unveiled in the spring of 2022.
Judging from the exposed spy photos, the new car uses the same design elements as the current model. The overall look is very atmospheric. The central control area still continues the large-size dual screen design, and the air outlet is embellished with silver trim. The difference is that the new car is equipped with a new style of three-frame steering wheel, which looks more delicate.
Looking back at the appearance, combined with the spy photos previously exposed, the new car is highly consistent with the old model, and only the details are fine-tuned. The biggest change is in the front face, the new car adopts a new shape of grille and light clusters, and adds more sporty elements to the front bumper area.
In terms of power, it is expected that the new car will continue the current powertrain, and the 2.0T and 2.5T engines are available. The drivetrain is mated to a 9-speed manual transmission and is expected to be added to the 48V mixing system.
