The 2021-2022 FIS City Cross-Country Skiing China Tour Shanghai Yangpu Station kicks off tomorrow

The City Cross-Country Skiing Competition is a Category A event hosted by the International Snow Federation and a points event at the Beijing Winter Olympics. Cross-country skiing is the foundation of winter sports, with a total of 109 gold medals at the Beijing Winter Olympics, of which cross-country skiing and cross-country skiing-based events account for 26.

This season's China Tour has a total of ten stops, with Shanghai as the ninth, which will help athletes win Olympic points in the final stages of winter Olympic preparations. The event is artificially snow-made and is the first real snow event held in Shanghai.

The competition consists of four events: men's and women's individual short distance free range technology and men's and women's team short distance free range technology. There is no viewing area at the competition site, and everyone can watch the game rebroadcast through CCTV Sports Channel (CCTV5), the broadcast time: 12:00-14:00 on December 18, 10:30-13:00 on December 19.
