Seven years ago today, Thierry Henry announced his retirement

On December 16, 2014, the French legend of the french generation, Thierry Henry, officially announced his retirement, ending his brilliant career.

Henry has played for many clubs such as Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona and Red Bull new York in his career, and has achieved a series of brilliant achievements.

In the summer of 1999, Henry moved from Juventus to Arsenal in the Premier League and began his great gunner career. In his two-time Gunner career, Henry made 376 appearances for the team, scoring 228 goals, providing 106 assists, winning two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with the team.

Henry has also set a string of records at Arsenal: the team's all-time top scorer, the player who scored the most goals at Highbury Stadium, the player who won the most Premier League Golden Boots, and the only player in Premier League history to score a double 20+ goals and assists in a single season.

At the national team level, Henry played 123 games for the French national team, scoring 51 goals, and is also the top scorer in the history of the French national team.
