Nanning, December 16 (Huang Lingyan) Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Sports Bureau introduced on the 16th that in the semi-final of the Chinese Football Association Women's Second Division League that ended on the 15th, the fledgling Guangxi PingguoBeinong Women's Football Team defeated the Guangdong team 3:1 and locked in the promotion quota in advance. Next year, they will participate in the 2022 Chinese Football Association Women's First Division, thus becoming the first truly professional women's football team in Guangxi.

Guangxi Pingguo Bainong women's football team was just established this year, in addition to Zhu Huimin and other guangxi players, the rest of the team members are from Jilin, Guangdong, Jiangsu and other places. At present, there are 4 active members of the national youth team in the team, and 3 are from the Women's Super League Changchun Outstanding Women's Football Team. Head coach Zhao Yan is from Changchun and has led the team to win the National Youth Games championship.

The team's goal is to impact the professional arena, and the first big test after they form a team is the 2021 Chinese Football Association Women's Second Division, and 16 teams will compete for two places to advance to the women's first division, including the women's football team of Shanghai Harbor Tongji University, the women's football team of Beijing Guoan Capital Institute of Physical Education, and the women's football team of Shandong Taishan Qufu Normal University. The First-time Bainong Women's Football Team performed eye-catchingly, and they were divided into Group D and defeated Anhui Normal University, Gannan Normal University, and Changchun Jilin Agricultural University successively, and easily qualified with a total victory. Facing the Beijing Guoan first women's football team, the girl was even more full of firepower, with a hearty 6-0 victory, and entered the semi-finals with her head held high.

For the final four teams aiming to advance to the top four, the semi-finals are a life-and-death battle, and the winner will directly get a "ticket" to the women's league. Facing the Guangdong R&F Anhua women's football team, the Bainong women's football team played steadily, and the 185-centimeter-tall national youth goalkeeper Gao Jingyao repeatedly blocked the opponent's threatening shots in the first half. In the second half, the Women's Football Team began to control the rhythm of the game, scoring first in the 55th minute. Even after the equalizer in the 65th minute, the girls were still not in a hurry, and head coach Zhao Yan made a magical substitution to control the outcome: the 23rd striker Zhang Xinlu, who came on as a substitute, scored a goal beyond the score, and in the final moments of the game, another substitute No. 13 forward Zhang Ni locked in the victory.

At present, the Chinese Football Association Women's Football Professional League is divided into two levels, namely the Women's Super League, which was founded in 1997, and the Women's League, which was founded in 2015. Guangxi Pingguo Bainong women's football team won the qualification to qualify for the 2022 Chinese Football Association Women's First Division League, which is the first time in the history of Guangxi football to join the "list" of professional women's football.

Guangxi already has two professional football teams, in addition to the Bainong women's football team, which has just achieved "professional recognition", and the Guangxi Habu men's football team, which has won the third place in this year's Chinese Second League. (End)
