Steam statistics website SteamDB recently released a steam annual game rating ranking using a self-developed algorithm. The algorithm combines the player's praise rate and the number of ratings the game has received, avoiding the situation where the unpopular high-scoring works appear at the top of the list.
According to the list, the 2021 Steam Game of the Year champion is the sandbox game Total War Simulator, which has a rating of 96.33%. The top 20 on the list include works such as "Double Trip", "Assassin's Creed: The Temple of Heroes", "Brain Voyager" and so on.
Among them, "Battlefield 2042" ranked 10234th with a praise rate of 33.3%, failing to rank among the top 10,000. Konami's new work "eFootball 2022" ranks last on the list with a 15.7% positive rating.
