The two sides signed an agreement at the Wuhan Tianma G6 Industrial Base on the cooperation between the two sides to build a new display technology joint laboratory, which will have an independent laboratory.
According to the official introduction, with the rich resources of Xiaomi's consumer goods business and Tianma's innovation platform for forward-looking display technology development and equipment, materials and technology verification, it realizes direct cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain in the research and development platform, further enhances the R&D collaboration ability of both sides, and rapidly promotes technology iteration.
Jointly promote the development of thin, portable, low-power, and new forms of display panel technology and the commercial mass production of new technology products.
According to public information, Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. was established in 1983 and is an innovative technology enterprise that provides customized display solutions and fast service support on a global scale.
It is reported that some models such as Xiaomi 11 Youth Edition (partial) and Redmi have previously adopted Pegasus screens.
Tianma Microelectronics said that Tianma and Xiaomi have always maintained a close cooperative relationship, and Tianma Screen is in an exclusive or one-supply position in many of Xiaomi's smart phones and smart wearable products.
