(Global TMT, December 16, 2021) On December 15, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiaomi") and Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianma") signed an agreement at the Wuhan Tianma G6 Industrial Base for cooperation in the joint laboratory of new display technology between the two parties. The joint laboratory will have an independent laboratory, with the rich resources of Xiaomi's consumer goods business and Tianma's forward-looking display technology development and innovation platform for equipment, materials and technology verification, to achieve direct cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain in the R&D platform, further enhance the R&D collaboration ability of both sides, rapidly promote technology iteration, and jointly promote the development of thin, portable, low-power, new form of display panel technology development and commercial mass production of new technology products.

In 2022, the flexible OLED project will further expand cooperation, and Tianma will fully support the outbreak of xiaomi flexible display mobile phones to help xiaomi achieve strategic goals.
