According to NASA, the James Webb Space Telescope Team is addressing communication issues between the telescope and the launch vehicle system (Ariane 5). In this case, the launch date will be postponed by another 2 days, no earlier than Friday, December 24. NASA may provide more information about the new release date by December 17.

Prior to that, on December 11, the James Webb Space Telescope had been fixed to the top of the Ariane 5 rocket. The entire "loading" process is one of the most rigorous operations in the launch process, and the telescope is carried out in a strictly safe and clean environment.
