The show "Everyday Treasure Hunting" must have been heard by everyone to a greater or lesser extent, and this program can help identify the authenticity of the Chinese of the family.
Most of the people on the show are fakes, but there is no shortage of viewers who hold a try-and-see mentality to identify and meet the real thing.
China's laws are very strict about the protection of cultural relics, and for the act of reselling cultural relics for the purpose of profit, according to the severity of the circumstances, the punishment is different sentencing of detention, so most of the authentic products will be handed over to the museum by the treasure owner.

However, there are also a small number of treasure owners who are reluctant to turn them in, but only want to stay at home and pass them on from generation to generation. This old man named Zhang Zhenhua was like this, who left 9 ancestral holy wills in his home but refused to hand them over to the museum.
Source of the Holy Will
Zhang Zhenhua's family lives in Shaanxi and is a famous local family. Its ancestors can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. During the Ming Chongzhen period, Zhang Zhenhua's predecessor Zhang Pengcheng was appreciated by the emperor and served as a deputy general of the general army, and the Zhang family began to develop.
After that, the emperor repeatedly assigned heavy responsibilities to Zhang Pengcheng, and Zhang Pengcheng did not live up to the emperor's expectations, and completed each task with all his heart, which became more and more valued by the emperor. One person was able to ascend to heaven, and the rest of the Zhang family was also sheltered by him and developed.
Since then, the Zhang family has accumulated wealth and spread its branches through the painstaking management of seven generations. Among these people, the poor-born partial houses are all jinshi, not to mention others, all of whom have a pivotal position among military attachés.
The Zhang family also made great contributions to the unification of Jiangnan by the six emperors of the Qing Dynasty, from Shunzhi to Daoguang, the pacification of San Francisco, the battle of crossing the sea, and the inspection of Jiangnan.
If you often watch costume dramas, you can know that the Holy Will is not something that can be obtained casually. When you see the holy will as you see the king, when you receive the holy will, you must kneel down and prostrate yourself to perform a great salute on the face.
And the materials used to make the Holy Will are extraordinary. As a display and symbol of the power of the ancient Chinese emperors, the choice of cloth must be a silk brocade fabric made of fine silk, and the pattern is also an auspicious cloud crane that symbolizes longevity and beauty. The texture of its shaft handle is strictly different from the grade of officials.
Most of the content of the holy decree is related to the reward, representing the emperor's respect and appreciation for this person. Such a precious and rare holy will was passed down from ancestor to Zhang Zhenhua's hands, and it was not one or two, but nine, which showed how much Zhang Zhenhua attached importance to it. These nine sacred wills were not achieved overnight, but were the accumulation of the Zhang family's generations.
In fact, this family originally had 15 holy wills. However, during the War of China, there were constant wars and chaos, and 6 were accidentally lost, so only 9 were left.
The content of these nine holy wills is basically the sealing of officials, including Yongzheng 3 Dao, Qianlong 4 Dao, Jiaqing 1 Dao, Daoguang 1 Dao, they represent the Zhang family's struggle history and blood and sweat honor, it is no wonder that the old people prefer to pass it on from generation to generation at home rather than hand it over to the museum.
Loss of the Holy Will
There is such a treasure in the family, Zhang Zhenhua can't help but show off to his friends, relatives, neighbors and other people, while showing and explaining the history of the Zhang family's family. Acting in this way, one passing on ten, ten passing on a hundred, everyone knows that Zhang Zhenhua has nine holy wills in his family.
Finally, the news reached the museums. At that time, there was no museum in the country that could have as many as nine sacred wills, and after they knew about it, they immediately contacted Zhang Zhenhua, hoping that he could take out the holy will and exhibit it.
One of the museums is the Huai'an Qing Banquet Garden, known as the "First Garden of Jianghuai", which shows the beauty of classical Chinese gardens to the fullest, and innovatively integrates the ruggedness of the north with the delicacy of the south.
As a well-known local garden, Qingyan Garden hopes to exhibit some treasures to increase passenger flow, so Qingyan Garden in Huai'an City invited Zhang Zhenhua to go to Qingyan Garden with the Nine Sacred Wills.
Zhang Zhenhua did not agree at first, first, because he attached great importance to the nine sacred wills in his family, and even if he gave them to relatives and friends to watch, he was very careful and did not dare to have a bad pool.
Second, he did not believe in the security measures of the exhibition, and was afraid that thieves would spy on the Holy Will, and took the opportunity to steal it. Third, he felt that handing over the holy will to outsiders for exhibition violated the ancestors' confessions and was exchanging family honors for glory and wealth.
After the experts knew his concerns, they repeatedly went to the door to do Zhang Zhenhua's ideological work, constantly ensuring that the most advanced scientific and technological means would be used to monitor the whole process when the exhibition was held, and that such a thing as the loss of the Holy Will would never happen.
And taking out the exhibition of the holy will to the masses is a good thing that can not only let everyone understand the history of the Zhang family, feel the glory of his family, but also popularize the science and literature.
In the end, Zhang Zhenhua still agreed to rent the Holy Will to the museum for exhibition, but he had to keep the key to the collection by himself.
In 2003, in The Qingyan Garden in Huai'an, Zhang Zhenhua used the key as usual to open the place where the Nine Sacred Wills were stored.
But something surprising happened, these nine holy wills were actually missing two!
Zhang Zhenhua couldn't believe it, and called the police for the first time, and at the same time informed the staff of Qingyan Garden to search the entire museum, turned over the sky, and did not see the shadow of the lost holy will. The case could not be solved until 2010, and even because the key was kept by Zhang Zhenhua himself, there was a suspicion of self-theft, and the police listed Zhang Zhenhua as a suspect.
Zhang Zhenhua was so anxious that he almost fainted, physically and mentally exhausted, and in the process of cooperating with the investigation of the case, he constantly regretted how he had agreed to the exhibition's holy will, resulting in the theft of the holy will, and he was ashamed of the ancestors.

At the beginning of the loss of the Holy Will, Zhang Zhenhua was still hopeful that he could retrieve it, and waited until 2008, still without any clues.
The hope in Zhang Zhenhua's heart was worn out little by little in the process of waiting, and finally reached the point of intolerable, he could not eat this dumb loss, and must make the derelict museum pay the price.
In 2008, Zhang Zhenhua took Qing Yanyuan to court. The court entrusted a professional appraisal agency to evaluate the Holy Will, and conducted a detailed assessment based on the age and size of the two Holy Wills, and finally determined that the single Holy Will was intended to be about 100,000 yuan, and the two Holy Wills were lost, adding up to 200,000 yuan.
In the end, the cultural relics experts of the Xuzhou Sacred Will Museum finally determined that the two sacred wills totaled 180,000 yuan, but the court ordered QingyanYuan to compensate Zhang Zhenhua for 90,000 yuan according to the law of equal sharing responsibility between the two parties.
After the court results came down, Zhang Zhenhua's own inner bitterness was unknown. Since then, he has never borrowed the remaining seven holy wills from his home.
No matter how others evaluate it, the significance of these nine sacred wills to the Zhang family is extraordinary and cannot be measured in money. The thief who stole the Holy Will may have only tried to seek money, but for Zhang Zhenhua, he lost a piece of the history of the Zhang family.
