Live Bar, December 14, 2021 FIFA announced the 23-man shortlist for the 2021 Best Team today.

Barca full-back Alves also made the list, with Alaba, Alba, Arnold, Bonucci and Ruben Díaz as the same defender candidates in the best team.

It is worth mentioning that Alves is already 38 years old and is the oldest player among the 23 candidates.
