At 11:30 a.m. on December 14, the Daqing Aviation Rescue Detachment received a telephone request from the local people, and a private car slid sideways into the ditch while driving on the path in the direction of Chunlei Ranch, 15 kilometers outside the detachment's camp, and needed assistance in rescue.
At 11:45, the detachment dispatched 4 commanders and fighters, 1 command vehicle, 1 loader, carrying a traction rope and related rescue equipment, led by Squadron Leader Li Weiming of the Emergency Communications and Vehicle Service Squadron to the scene of the accident for disposal.
After the rescue detachment arrived at the scene of the accident, after inquiry, it was learned that the accident car was a pickup truck, due to the wet and slippery road surface caused by snowfall, coupled with the narrow road, the driver slid the overall side of the vehicle when driving and turning, and slid into the ditch, fortunately, the driver had climbed out of the car, and there was no injury to the body.
After the situation was clear, the rescue team immediately surveyed according to the scene situation, studied and formulated a safety plan and rescue plan, organized the task detachment to set up rescue warning signs on the roads before and after the accident site, and adopted the method of loader towing and pulling to carry out rescue operations. In 15 minutes, the mission team successfully rescued the trapped vehicle and completed the handover with the owner.

How to prevent vehicles from sliding on snow days
1. Pay attention to eliminating the hidden dangers of braking and "deviation"

4. Correct use of brakes
"Speed control" first, avoid frequent use of braking: "point brake" is the mainstay, "inspection" follows (refers to the need to pay attention to the smooth state of the vehicle when braking); make full use of the engine traction resistance; pay attention to the coordination of braking, and avoid using brakes while hitting the direction, increasing and decelerating operations.
