With the outbreak of the Second World War, the world was completely plunged into chaos, and the crazy German chariots were crushed on the land of countries such as France and Poland; but with the strength of the "Allied forces" and the wanton behavior of fascist Germany, the last trial soon came. By early 1945, the German forces were no longer fierce, the once invincible country had become fragile, the Tanks of the Red Army had smashed the Leopard and Tiger tanks they had been proud of, and the red flag began to replace the Swastika flag on the land.
This was followed by the fall of Berlin, Hitler's suicide, the complete victory of the Allies on the battlefields of Europe, and the transformation of Nazi Germany from a tiger to a sick cat, from a butcher with a knife to a pork on a board, and these people who had been loyal to the Third Reich and to Hitler understood that they were doomed.

The establishment and unification of East and West Germany
Germany was once again facing sanctions, and what they had never imagined was that this time the sanctions were going to cut off their territory. On 2 May of that year, the Germans submitted a formal declaration of surrender to their old rivals, the Slavs, and six days later, the Germans surrendered to the Allies.
In fact, if you look at this detail roughly, there is nothing wrong with it, but if you analyze it carefully, you will find that Germany's "surrender strategy" after the defeat of the war is very clever. They did not insist on surrendering to one country and one army, but surrendered to the Soviet Union and the Allies respectively, although this did not allow them to escape the sanctions, but they could share the pressure given by one country equally between the two countries.
As we all know, the Soviet Union was a socialist country at that time, and the Allies were all new and old capitalist alliances, and the two camps were essentially contradictory, in order to prevent Germany from being reorganized by the Soviet Union or the Allied forces, so they would surrender to two countries and two forces.
It seems that during World War II, both fascist Germany and fascist Japan had a fear of the Soviet Union, and this fear was the fear of retaliation. When the Japanese were dying, there was a slogan in the military at that time: "Surrender to the Americans, do not fall into the hands of the Soviets!" ”
The reason for this is that they have a grudge with the Soviets, and the other is that the conditions for the United States to treat prisoners are much better than those of the Soviet army and the American army, so in World War II, many people preferred to be prisoners of war in the United States and allies rather than in the Soviet Union.
The full name of West Germany, the Federal Republic of Germany, was established and controlled by the United States, Great Britain and France on May 23, 1949. East Germany was a Central European socialist state established on October 7, 1949, with the help of the Soviet Union.
Because West Germany has the support of many established capitalists such as the United States, its economy has developed well in the later period, and the lives of local residents are also tasteful. In contrast, East Germany, which was controlled by the Soviet Union, because of the single, rigid and inactive economic system, the economy of the region has been hovering in the middle and the difference.
Later, due to the collapse of the Soviet Union and the fact that Eastern Europe was no longer under Soviet control, it was incorporated into the "Federal Republic of Germany" on October 3, 1990.
There were no West Germans rushing to East Germany
The title is clearly exaggerated, because at that time, only east Germans were scrambling, rushing to West Germany, and even paying the price with their lives, and there was no west German giving up their lives to go to west Germany.
Because West Germany at that time, that is, the Federal Republic of Germany, was controlled by the old bourgeoisie such as the United States, Britain and France, they would play a leading role in the development of the West German economy, so at that time the economy, social conditions, and people's livelihood conditions in West Germany were very high.
In contrast, East Germany, because it was controlled by the Soviets, and the Soviet Union also transformed its economic model into a "rigid" and "wooden" development method, thus taking the once vigorous Berlin into a "wrong way", making the country achieve a new low in the gross domestic product and people's livelihood construction.
So at this time, some East Germans began to look at the life of West Germans, and they would find ways to "smuggle" to West Germany, and it was precisely because of this that the population of West Germany would be much higher than that of East Germany in the future, not because of the birth rate of West German babies, but because most of the people in East Germany quietly ran to West Germany.
In order to prevent the population loss of East Germany and to better consolidate and operate this strategic place, the Soviet Union was determined to establish the "Berlin Wall" at the junction of East and West Germany to cut the bonds between the two German peoples.
But despite this, at that time, there were still East German people who tried their best to climb west Germany. Some people quietly climbed over the wall, some people made hot air balloons to fly over, and some even "hardened" with the soldiers guarding the "Berlin Wall".
West Germans who went to East Germany
Although there has been no rush to East Germany by West Germans in history, there are also some West Germans who have gone to East Germany. This is not because life in East Germany is better than in West Germany, but these people really can't mix in West Germany.
Although the economy of West Germany is developing rapidly, there is only such a big cake in West Germany, and more and more people come over, and there will be higher unemployment, many people's employment, and welfare are not guaranteed. This is just like when many people in China go out to find jobs, they like to go to the big city of Shanghai, one is because there are more opportunities in this place, the other is because the salary in the place will be very high, but the bad thing is that such a place will be very competitive.
Some people are lucky to win the top spot, but some people are unfortunate to be out of the big waves, so these people who are "washed away" decide not to develop in West Germany and live in East Germany in the blink of an eye.
Although the economic level of East Germany is not high, in terms of pressure and competition, it will be much better than theirs in West Germany. It is precisely in this way that these people will abandon the economic life of West Germany and go to East Germany to live a relatively "backward" life.
A summary of West and East Germany
The division of Germany actually mirrored the game between the United States and the Soviet Union at that time, not only East and West Germany, but also NATO and the Warsaw Pact. They frequently have cold wars, and they have frequently shown goodwill, sometimes tense relations, sometimes intimate relations.
Eventually, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, East Germany was merged with West Germany, and since then there has been only one Germany in history, that is, the Federal Republic of Germany.
