According to Cambodian media sources, on December 12, the anti-drug police of the Ministry of the Interior, with the cooperation of the police of the four provinces, cracked a major drug-making case and seized more than 1.4 tons of drugs. At that time, a fierce gun battle broke out between the two sides, and eventually a Taiwanese man was killed.
General Lek Vannak of the Anti-Narcotics Bureau of the Ministry of the Interior revealed that the drug den is located in a mango factory in Ora County, Shiju Province. In the early hours of the same day, the Anti-Narcotics Bureau of the Ministry of the Interior cooperated with the police of Shiju, Guogong, Xigang and Phnom Penh to crack these cases.
He said that during the operation, drug offenders had opened fire on police and there had been a fierce gun battle between the two sides, resulting in the death of one suspect on the spot and the arrest of two others.
It is reported that the three suspects are all Men of Taiwanese nationality, of whom the deceased is 32 years old, and the arrested are a driver and a 47-year-old director of a drug processing plant.
In addition, Cambodian police seized 74 bags of Kta life (20 bags each), weighing a total of 1480 kg (together with the package), 1 K54 pistol, two cars and a large number of drug-making raw materials and processing equipment.
