The 2021 National Men's Boxing Championship and China Professional Boxing Championship kicked off on December 7 in Baisha Li Autonomous County, Hainan. The Xinjiang boxing team of 11 people entered the top eight of the national championship and has now begun to enter the second stage of the competition.
It is reported that the competition adopts the latest technical rules issued by the International Boxing Federation in July this year, and is divided into 13 competition levels, namely 46-48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg, +92kg.
From December 7th to 10th, 183 athletes from 32 representative teams from all over the country competed fiercely in 13 levels of boxing events, and the top eight athletes who entered the top eight were trained as national team training athletes at the Baisha County Training Base until the end of the competition.
The Xinjiang boxing team sent a total of 16 athletes to participate in the competition, and through the first stage of the four-day competition, 11 athletes of the Xinjiang boxing team entered the top eight. The second stage of the competition begins on 11 December, and the winners of all levels will be selected from 30 to 31 December.
