Haikou, December 11 (Fu Yuqun) As one of the main activities of the 2021 (22nd) Hainan International Tourism Island Joy Festival, the "Changle Weiyang - Datang Chang'an Cultural Relics Exhibition" launched by the Hainan Provincial Museum and six other cultural institutions, including the Shaanxi History Museum, was launched in Haikou on December 11, and 116 pieces (sets) of Tang Dynasty cultural relics sketched a colorful picture of the Tang Dynasty for the audience.

It is understood that this exhibition takes the Chang'an civilization of the Tang Dynasty as the theme, and shows the material civilization and splendid culture of the Tang Dynasty to the audience from different angles through the three units of "Capital of the East", "Changle Chang'an" and "Transportation of All Nations", showing the prosperous weather of Chang'an, the capital of Tang Dynasty, and the cultural exchanges and mutual learning along the Silk Road.

The "Capital of the Orient" unit shows the capital city structure, the layout of Chang'an and the two cities in the east and the west; the "Changle Chang'an" unit reproduces the prosperous scene of thousands of households and hundreds of industries in Chang'an City from the perspectives of living and eating, gorgeous clothing and decoration, and prosperous culture and entertainment; the "Traffic of All Nations" unit shows the enlightened, tolerant, self-reliant and confident Tang Dynasty, with an open attitude and broad mind to welcome many foreign visitors with different cultures, races and backgrounds.

From the bricks and tiles of the Daming Palace to the eating utensils used by the Chang'an people, from the various Tang figurine statues to the costumes worn by the Chang'an people, the combed makeup and hair, from the unrestrained horse riding and hunting to the beautiful and noisy music and dance, from the open and inclusive religious beliefs to the Four Yibin costumes of the kingdoms to the Dynasty... In the exhibition hall, the fiery and active life pictures of the Chang'an people appeared one by one, which made the audience marvel one by one.

"The 'Painted Glazed Pottery Horse Riding Maid' is very interesting, and through the display of ladies riding horses in Tang costumes wearing bib hats, it can reflect the openness, tolerance and self-confidence of the Tang Dynasty." Jiang Tao, deputy director of the Exhibition Department of Shaanxi History Museum, introduced that the exhibition of Tang Dynasty cultural relics launched this time is the original exhibition of Shaanxi History Museum, which selects 116 pieces (sets) of Tang Dynasty cultural relics from 6 major cultural institutions in Shaanxi, including pottery figurines, three-color figurines, gold and silverware, porcelain, etc., through different cultural relics to show the social life scenes of the Tang people and reflect the history and culture of the Tang Dynasty.

Duan Yucong, a citizen with many years of travel experience at home and abroad, praised the cultural relics at the exhibition site and called out "unimaginable". He took the examples of cultural relics such as "Bronze Mirror of the Four Gods and Twelve Zodiac Signs" and "Hanging Tire Glazed Pillow", and believed that through the exhibition, understanding the exquisite production technology of the ancients and reviewing history is also a traceability of cultural self-confidence, which is worth tasting.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, the Hainan Provincial Museum and the Shaanxi History Museum, and co-organized by the Xi'an Museum, the Qianling Museum, the Xi'an Chang'an Museum, the Baoji Fengxiang District Museum, and the Zhaoling Museum.
