On the evening of the 12th, the 8th Silk Road International Film Festival was successfully concluded in Minyue Water Town, Fuzhou. Acting Governor Zhao Long, Provincial Leaders Zhang Yan, Lin Baojin, Lei Chunmei, Zheng Jianmin, Ruan Shiwei, and Shaanxi Provincial Leader Wang Xiao attended the meeting.
Since its opening on December 8, more than 70 outstanding films such as "China's Heavenly Eye" have been screened, and representatives of the crew of films such as "High-speed Rail Testimony" and "My Heart Is Upward" have been invited to exchange creative experiences, build an international platform for film exchanges, and continue to promote the "Belt and Road" film cultural exchanges. During the film festival, activities such as launching ceremonies, film awards, film forums, and film project ventures were also held.
The evening's activities were divided into three parts: award ceremony, literary and artistic performance and handover ceremony, performing song and dance programs such as "The Wind Comes from the Sea" and "Seven Slips and Eight Slips Away from Fuzhou", and interacted with the "Belt and Road" world filmmakers, highlighting the multicultural charm of different countries and regions along the Silk Road.
For the first time, this year's film festival set up the "Golden Silk Road Award" main competition unit award activity. At the closing ceremony, awards were given to the films and actors who won the "Golden Silk Road Award" best film, best director, best cutting-edge director, best actress, best actor and other top ten awards of this film festival.
