In the 17th minute, Mbappe suddenly took off, Fofana was forced to commit a tactical foul and the referee showed a yellow card warning. Two minutes later, Mbappe fouled Diop and was also yellow.
In the 24th minute, Joan Ameni's long pass was deflected and Ben Yeddell's header headed back and Diop stepped forward without touching the ball.
