The nursing home is located in the northeastern Arkansas town of Monette and has about 90 beds. After the incident, at least 20 people were trapped in nursing homes. The authorities launched an emergency rescue and relocated the trapped.

Local police said that in addition to the roof of the nursing home being overturned, a mobile tower and other buildings in the town were damaged by tornadoes.

According to local media reports, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Storm Prediction Center said that as of the early morning of the 11th, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee had reported at least 24 tornado disasters.
