This painting depicts the story of Yuan Ang's concubine Lady Shen sitting side by side with the emperor and the empress dowager during the reign of Emperor Wen of the Western Han Dynasty. It is now in the national palace museum in Taipei. As a painter, the love for this painting stems from the characteristics of the group portraits of the people in the picture, the composition and the atmosphere of the picture matching; a painting that is relatively complete and delicate from the whole to the part, highlighting the high artistic attainment of the original author.
In the picture, the protagonist Yuan Ang is seen in the center of the picture, closest to the viewer; Emperor Wen of Han and seven other people are on the right side of the picture, and the guards are on the left, between Emperor Wen and the guards of Jingua. Among the seven people on the right, Emperor Wen sat on the throne in the center, with a serious expression, his right hand on his knees, his left hand on the chair, his chest wearing a square heart collar, wearing a heavenly crown dress, and a long beard hanging down his chest; on the left round pier of the emperor sat Lady Shen with her head bowed and silent, slightly unhappy, and appeared very uncomfortable; the four palace women stood behind Emperor Wen, a short maid, close to Lady Shen, they all stood still and listened, witnessing the scene; the palace guards, full of cheeks and long beards, crossed eyebrows, bifurcated on both feet, holding golden melon weapons, majestic, waiting for the next order, performing official duties, Yuan Ang bowed his back and bent over, raised his wat with both hands, played the king's form as a face, looked firm and persistent, faced outward, bent over, resolute and solemn, and looked calm.
