The arrogance of the human heart

author:The death of passers-by

In dealing with people, modesty and affinity make people feel like sitting in the spring breeze; arrogance creates psychological distance. Arrogance breeds in people's self-perception, and arrogant people will infinitely enlarge themselves and ignore the advantages and emotional feelings of others. In getting along with people, deliberately create a psychological gap, so as to get more pleasure for yourself. However, the result of this will of course be that many people will turn a blind eye to it, and eventually often leave other emotional needs unmet.

The root of most people's arrogance is social status. Different social periods, different social value systems, have formed a variety of arrogance. The monopoly of the scholars' door valves on the ruling class represents the arrogance of the aristocrats who originated from the bloodline in a long historical period; after the Sui and Tang dynasties, the imperial examination system created many hanmen and nobles, and knowledge and culture became the capital that these people were proud of; after the founding of the People's Republic of China, with the development of social economy, the continuous improvement of social productive forces, the acceleration of the process of informatization, and the subversive transformation of social values.

Nowadays, more and more people's value orientation is beginning to be biased, and many things can be measured by money. Money can be a symbol of ability, people with strong ability have money, people with poor ability have no money, people with strong ability have arrogant capital; the nature of work is also divided into three, six, nine, etc., the income of employees of enterprises and institutions is high, the social status is high, the employees of private enterprises, the income is low, and the corresponding social status is also low, so the former also has a considerable sense of superiority in front of the latter; people with knowledge represent a stronger ability to make money, and people who lack knowledge have a poor ability to make money, although they cannot be generalized, but in general, it is like this. So many highly educated people laugh at the ignorance of others. No matter what the reason for the pride, arrogant people can always quickly find their own strengths, build their sense of superiority, and thus slow down the people around them.

Explicit arrogance, generally straight forward, does not know how to hide their sense of superiority, and never even realizes that this arrogance will bring unpleasantness to people. For example, some people are in leadership positions, and they call and drink to their subordinates regardless of the occasion; for example, some people enter the mall and hotel, do not know how to respect the service staff, as if they are God's posture, can do whatever they want. By flouting other people's positions, occupations, etc., to show their superiority and brush up on the sense of existence. This arrogance is repulsive, and there is still a truth to circle.

Another type of arrogant person, who has a city government, hides his arrogance and inadvertently conveys his inner arrogance. This type of person usually behaves very amiably, gives people a very good feeling of getting along, talks and behaves gently, but is always looking down on others with a high posture. At the beginning of contact, many times you will feel that they are humble and kind, and over time, when that kind of high posture is more and more expressed, you will suddenly realize, and then gradually drift away.

Xu Beihong said: "People must not be proud, but they must not be proud", and arrogant people are the opposite. Arrogant people, most of them use arrogant postures to cover up the unknown deficiencies in their hearts, which is an expression of inferiority and vulnerability, afraid of being discovered by others, and defending themselves with arrogance. Over time, arrogance becomes the natural attitude of such people.

Arrogance will cause dissatisfaction among others, blind their own minds, hurt themselves, and if they can't see the advantages of others, they will hurt interpersonal relationships. Do not blindly follow the tide, revise values, pay attention to personal character cultivation, constantly carry out knowledge reserves and cultural precipitation, use personality and knowledge to attract like-minded people, communicate with people with equality, and maybe one day in the future you will get more attention.
