Dr. Tao Hong graduated from the University of Cambridge with a ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence. After graduation, Dr. Hong Tao has worked in a number of multinational or well-known enterprises, with many years of experience in computer engineering design, architecture and project management.

As a high-end talent in the field of artificial intelligence, Dr. Hong Tao has profound technical strength and rich industry experience. His main research interests include image processing/big data/machine learning//signal processing/machine vision, and he is familiar with various feature extraction algorithms such as SIFT/HoG/Edge/Wavelets. In addition to excellent technical strength, Dr. Hong Tao also has international lab cooperation and exchange experience, and can quickly establish a good technical cooperation relationship with all parties.

Prior to joining Sanmeng Technology, Dr. Hong Tao worked at Xiaoding Intelligence as CTO. Dr. Hong Tao's work mainly revolves around the research and development of mall systems based on artificial intelligence technology, as well as technical guidance and team management. Previously, during his tenure at Jingdong Mall, Dr. Hong Tao also achieved good work results, including jointly leading the team to set up the Jingdong Deep Learning Lab, and participated in the research and development of the marketing system based on image retrieval, the algorithm model research of the intelligent sales forecasting system, and the technical research and guidance of the intelligent customer service response system JIMI, intelligent inventory management, procurement advice and other system platforms.
