Pan African Express is certified by IATA CEIV Pharma

This is the first logistics express company in China to obtain this certification. Adhering to the research concept of standardization, excellence and friendliness, Pan African Express contributes to ensuring the standardization and safety of temperature-controlled drug transportation and contributing to the global victory over the epidemic.

Temperature-controlled drugs have the characteristics of high value, temperature sensitivity and strong timeliness, and belong to the aviation preference for transporting goods. In the supply chain link, temperature-controlled drugs are special objects of cold chain logistics, and it is necessary to strictly ensure the quality of drugs in all aspects of cold chain logistics, reduce loss, and prevent qualitative change and pollution. In order to solve these problems in the field of air transport, IATA has issued the standard in the field of pharmaceutical air transport - the Independent Verification Center of Excellence for Pharmaceutical Logistics certification. The standard not only meets the existing EU GDP standards and other relevant standards and regulations, but also focuses on special operational transport and warehousing specifications in air transport.

Since September 2020, Pan African Express launched the CEIV Pharma certification project, set up a special team to strictly comply with the certification standards of IATA, strictly abide by its standardized process, and unite with the upstream and downstream supply chain airports, airlines, etc. to comprehensively refine and standardize the whole process of cold chain drug management operations, forming a temperature-controlled drug transportation quality management manual and operation manual suitable for freight forwarding enterprises, and improving the operation guarantee ability of employees through the formulation of efficient training and learning programs. Ultimately, under IATA's rigorous audit, the company received this certification on December 1.

Adhering to the concept of "China-Africa Community of Shared Destiny", Pan-Africa Express clearly put forward the development concept of "deep ploughing in Africa and connecting Africa and the world" at the beginning of its establishment, and opened Africa's first destination port in 2014, and the current service network has spread throughout Africa. In 2021, the total number of vaccines shipped to more than 30 countries around the world through Pan African Express flights will reach nearly 1,500 tons, of which nearly 700 tons and 36 million doses of vaccine shipments will be shipped to Africa, covering 25 countries in Africa.
