Founded in 1984, Xinjing No.2 Village belongs to the after-sales public housing community, with 858 households and 38 doorways. The old sewage pipes have not been replaced in the past 40 years, and many of the aging pipes have led to problems such as water leakage and poor drainage in residents' homes, which have brought many inconveniences to the daily life of residents. Combined with the construction of the boutique community in Xinjing Second Village, the indoor waste sewage pipe transformation project is promoted as a superposition project.
Aunt Pan, a resident of No. 36 of Xinjing Second Village, although her home has just been renovated, she took the initiative to cooperate, ran up and down to do coordination work, making Building 36 the first door in the community to complete the transformation of indoor waste sewage pipes. After the renovation of the building was completed, Aunt Pan also used her own home as a "model house" for nearby residents to visit.
In order to further expand the urgency and necessity of the indoor waste sewage pipe renovation project, the neighborhood committee displayed the old water pipes on display in the community, and the rusty and fouled pipes greatly shocked the residents. In order to effectively do a good job in this people's heart and practical project, and minimize the impact of pipeline replacement on the daily life of residents, the Xinjing Second Village Neighborhood Committee, property, construction party and other forces are guided by the needs of residents, on the basis of soliciting residents' opinions and obtaining residents' understanding, they make full preparations and take multiple measures to promote the implementation of the project, aiming to achieve long-term convenience in exchange for one construction and really solve the troubles of residents.
During the pipeline replacement process, there will be a short period of water stoppage, the community specially set up temporary toilets, and the residents' activity room will be equipped with shower rooms to facilitate residents to go to the toilet and shower during the construction of the sewage pipe. Due to the large number of room types and complex pipelines in the community, the construction party has formulated a "one household, one policy plan", and combined with the actual situation of the residents' homes, actively responds to the demands, and helps residents repair the waterproof layer and bathtub of the shower room during the construction of the project, and simultaneously solves the problem of water leakage on the wall of the old house. At the same time, the construction party intimately set up a tile pipeline display area and prepared more than 100 types of tiles for residents to choose.
What is more special is that some of the houses along the street in Xinjing Second Village are shops on the ground floor, and the construction will affect their daily business. Beixinjing Street, neighborhood committee, industry committee and property company actively communicate and negotiate with shops, try their best to reduce the impact of construction, and optimize pipeline construction methods according to the actual situation of shops. For example, in the FamilyMart on Beiyu Road, the construction party placed the pipeline in the storage room, and the construction did not affect the use of the main space; a sewage well was added in front of the Pingtang noodle shop that produced more oil pollution, and the daily maintenance and maintenance of the pipeline in the future can also be easily operated.
The successful completion of the indoor waste sewage pipe renovation project in Xinjing Second Village benefited from the practical experience and achievements of Beixinjing Street over the years. As early as 2019, the street took Xinjing Six Villages as a pilot community, overcoming problems such as diverse room types, kitchen and bathroom wastewater pipes, kitchen and bathroom shared wastewater pipes, and two households sharing wastewater pipes, Xinjing Six Villages took the lead in becoming the first boutique community in Changning District to build superimposed indoor waste sewage pipe renovation projects. By the end of November 2021, 17 communities in the subdistrict have completed the renovation of indoor waste sewage pipes, benefiting nearly 10,000 residents and bringing new vitality and vitality to the "old and small" houses.
