Zhang Yuqi's family of 5 originally lived in a courtyard with gray tiles, and the "7.20" rainstorm damaged his family's house. "I really didn't expect to get the key to the new house so soon, no, the floor of my house is almost paved, and I must have lived in a new house a few years ago!" Zhang Yuqi's joy overflowed into words.
In the process of rural housing transformation and post-disaster reconstruction, Gongyi City resolutely implements the work arrangements of the province and Zhengzhou City, regards the post-disaster reconstruction of farmhouses as the "No. 1 project" and "people's heart project" of the current work, and on the basis of ensuring quality, truly highlights a "fast" word. At present, 100% of the repair and reinforcement of 7307 houses have been completed; in the process of decentralized resettlement, 532 farmhouses involved in the reconstruction of the original site have all started; and a total of 49 projects have been identified for centralized resettlement, involving 13 towns (streets), and all construction has been started.

In view of the temporary difficulties of the masses, Gongyi City coordinated financial institutions to customize the "reconstruction loan" with a quota of less than 50,000 yuan, a 1-year period, pure credit issuance, and a government discount before the completion and delivery of the building, as well as a "resettlement loan" with a quota of 200,000 yuan, a 10-year period and a low interest rate to reduce the pressure on the masses to buy houses. For the resettlement of centralized buildings, after the demolition of dangerous houses, they can continue to retain the right to qualify for homestead land, or hand over the homestead to the village for collective use and enjoy the share dividend. Timely distribution of transitional relief funds, the launch of the "warm heart through the winter" special action, to solve the problems of clothing, food, housing and warmth, so that the disaster-stricken people can truly feel the warmth of the party and the government.
Strictly control the quality of newly built housing, Gongyi City preferentially select enterprises with strong strength, high qualifications, sufficient funds, good performance and good reputation to participate in post-disaster reconstruction. Set up a project quality supervision team to control the quality and safety of the reconstruction project in the whole process. Strictly control the safety of funds, discipline inspection, finance, auditing and other departments participate in the whole process of subsidy object confirmation, fund allocation, project construction, completion acceptance and other links, the whole process of supervision of the safe use of disaster relief funds. Strictly control the price of resettlement housing, under the premise of ensuring quality and safety, try to control costs as much as possible, so that the masses can live in economic housing, safe housing, and comfortable housing.
