Speculation on a follow-up flight to Beijing in Copenhagen

author:Growing up with CNY

Before writing, I hesitated for a long time, because I could not escape the name of a panic maker, but based on the information and analysis that I had personal contact with, I felt that it was still very necessary to write about it.

As we all know, due to unknown reasons, Air China issued a notice on 12.3 to cancel the Copenhagen Beijing flights on 12.6 and 12.13, the specific reasons should be related to the diagnosis of inbound passengers, but so far there has been no data released, and according to the information I know, the first entry point needs to be changed and cannot be directly entered into Beijing. So, if this regulation is implemented, how should the subsequent Copenhagen-Beijing flights be handled? Personally, I believe that there are nothing more than the following three points:

1, the most ideal result, there are cities outside Beijing, willing to undertake the entry point of this route, and provide the corresponding isolation hotel, etc., then the subsequent flights will be able to fly, the only change is the change of the entry point, correspondingly, the isolation policy will become 14 days, rather than 21 days of entry into Beijing;

2, the worst plan, because other cities on the mainland are not willing to be new entry cities for this route, then canceling flights becomes the only option;

3. I personally believe that the least likely outcome is that, with reference to the treatment at the beginning of the year, Copenhagen Beijing continues to use Beijing as the entry point, but refuses all transit passengers, and only provides flights to Beijing for passengers in Denmark;

At present, all the information shows that Air China can not find other cities willing to be as a new entry point, after canceling the 12.6 and 12.13 flights, the follow-up flights are closed for sale, there is no new opening time, therefore, the follow-up flights, will be cancelled one after another. For passengers returning home from a transit flight from Copenhagen, if it is departing from the United Kingdom, personal advice can be changed to a transit in Stockholm, and if there is no other suitable change, it is recommended to buy an additional ticket as a new plan. After all, the route to Xi'an in Stockholm has not been restored, and can only be changed to Beijing, indicating that the search for new entry points cannot be achieved by Air China alone.
