Beihai longed for it, Guangxi trip I deliberately bypassed the capital Nanning, from Liuzhou to take a train to Beihai, I think the Beihai attracted me or the sea.
After arriving in Beihai, it was late, so I chose to live near Beihai Old Street to facilitate the next day to visit Beihai Old Street.

There are two major tourist attractions in Beihai City, one is Beihai Old Street and the other is Beihai Silver Beach. Beihai Old Street is an arcade-style architectural street, a fusion of Chinese and Western architectural styles, this arcade building is very practical, that is, sheltered from rain and sunscreen Looks very distinctive. Beihai Old Street has a history of 200 years, and the old street seen now was built in the Republic of China period and was once the largest and most prosperous commercial street in Beihai. However, with the development of Beihai City, today's Beihai Old Street, the business has long been overshadowed, just as a tourist attraction, showing tourists the glorious past.
Because it was morning, when I went to Beihai Old Street, there were not many tourists, many shops were not open, and the whole old street looked empty. Walking on the old street of Beihai, looking at the mottled arcade-style buildings on both sides of the street full of vicissitudes, I suddenly have a feeling of going back in time, as if walking on the streets of the Republic of China period. There are a lot of bougainvillea in the old street, which is proudly opening, filled with a faint fragrance, which makes me, a northwesterner who has not yet come out of the winter cold, feel the feeling of spring.
Leaving Beihai Old Street, I took a bus to Beihai Silver Beach, and I, a person who grew up in the northwest inland, have never seen the sea yet. For me, who is full of travel books, I have been familiar with Beihai Silver Beach for a long time in books, and I have long known that it has the title of "the first beach in the world". Beihai Silver Beach Scenic Area is about 24 kilometers long, which can not be described as long, because the white and delicate sand is silver under the sunlight, so it is called "Beihai Silver Beach".
Beihai Silver Beach is a free scenic spot, stepping on the soft sand, I slowly walked to the sea to meet the sea of my heart. Walking on the beach, I found that it was covered with dense holes, and the petite sand crabs came in and out of the holes, as fast as arrows, which was interesting. Finally walked to the beach, close contact to appreciate the sea, the mood at this time with Haizi's famous poem to describe, is "facing the sea, spring warm blossoms." People who grew up by the sea can't imagine the euphoria of inland people seeing the sea for the first time.
Walking quietly on the beach, looking at the wide bosom of the sea, feeling the surging waves under your feet, no matter how many worries you have at this moment, you will forget. However, I was slightly disappointed that the sea I saw in Beihai Silver Beach was not as blue as I imagined, and the color of the sea in Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai and other places in Shandong Province that I went to later was beautiful. After being exposed to the hot sun of Silver Beach for several hours, I felt that my skin was about to be oiled, so I reluctantly left the Beihai Silver Beach Scenic Area, and the reason why I had nostalgia was because I didn't know if I would have the opportunity to come back to Beihai.
One of the biggest feelings in Beihai is that there are many people in the northeast, which can be said to be everywhere, whether it is by bus, or to eat at restaurants, or in scenic spots, you can hear the distinctive northeast accent. In the words of a northeastern aunt I met, it is that the Beihai climate is good, the urban environment is good, the price is cheap, and the products are abundant, and their family has bought a house and settled in the Beihai for ten years, and they like the Beihai place too much. I think the words of this northeastern aunt are the voice of many northeastern people living here, my heart is my hometown, where I can settle down, where is home.
My biggest regret about the North Sea trip is that I did not go to Weizhou Island, catching up with the holidays, and too many tourists made me prohibitive. For those of us who are busy making a living, once the regret is generated, it is difficult to have a chance to make up for it.
