Ruhui:

The BBC's nature documentaries, I like to watch, David Attenborough, are people who like nature documentaries can't get around.

In the WeChat reading in December, the new books pushed every day have David Attenborough's book "David Attenborough's Natural Travels (First Series)", which I added to the collection without hesitation and read it in two days using the planned reading method.

The main content of this "David Attenborough Nature's Travels (Series 1)" is about David's first experience in the documentary industry. In this experience, he said only a few words about his journey into the industry, more about his journey with his friends to photograph and collect animals.

After I read the book, my first impression was that David Attenborough's writing was as good as his documentary.

I rarely take notes on prose works, and David Attenborough's Natural Travels (Series I) is arguably the one I take the most notes in this type of work, and Li Juan's works do not have this treatment.

Why? I thought about it and thought, maybe he didn't take the principle of destroying the local ecological balance when shooting and capturing animals.

There's a plot that impressed me very much: they caught a three-toed sloth, yes, it was a sloth, not a "tree otter". When David was grabbing the sloth, the sloth's limbs were clutching the branches, and if he forcibly grabbed it, the sloth would be injured.

So David thought about it, found a thick branch in the tree and broke it, tried to let the sloth catch it, and he succeeded, so the sloth obediently followed them to the camp.

When they arrived at the camp, they found that the sloth was different from what they had encountered before, and how to raise it and let it breed became a problem. It just so happened that the sloth gave birth to a small baby, so after consultation, the team observed the sloth for a month and then released it into the forest.

But it is not impossible for someone in their team to forcibly bring the sloth back to England for the sake of profit, but they always think that they are only observers, and for rare creatures, as long as they have filmed a documentary about this creature, it is better to let it return to nature.

Along the way, they also needed to capture or buy some local animals to bring back to the UK for exhibition, but they didn't think that if they couldn't take them away, they would have to die and make specimens to bring back to the UK.

After reading this book, I found that David Attenborough is a person who loves nature, records nature, and loves nature even more.

I think this is the main reason why David can get the title of nine point king on Douban.

Here, I suddenly remembered the so-called "environmental protection girl" who called on our people not to use chopsticks, and under that beautiful face, it was actually a "white bone".

I don't know if you watched Animal World when you were a kid, I watched it when I was a kid, and I don't remember much of a CCTV column in my current impression.

I remember once watching "Animal World" with a group of friends, which was about the daily life of the lion group. At that time, a friend read it and said four words "law of the jungle", and after carefully recalling this friend's speech, I found that this "law of the jungle" is not only a lion, as long as there is a living biological group, where is the "law of the jungle"?
