Wang Shufeng and Yang Ye, director of the Technical Department of the Beijing Hearing Association, gave lectures on the theoretical knowledge and skill operation of the special vocational ability of auditory speech rehabilitation technology - hearing aid fitting. At the end of the training course, 29 college students took the "Special Vocational Ability for Auditory speech rehabilitation" assessment examination organized by the Beijing Hearing Association. The examination evaluation is carried out in accordance with the professional skill standards of the fitter, the theoretical knowledge paper and pencil answer sheet, the skill practice simulation operation is scored on the spot, and the assessment results are qualified, and the certificate of "Special Vocational Ability of Auditory speech rehabilitation technology" is issued by the Beijing Hearing Association.
According to reports, the Beijing Society of Audiology was established on February 18, 2011, which is a non-profit 4A-level social organization jointly initiated by many well-known experts, senior practitioners in the industry and social welfare figures, voluntarily applied, and approved by the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. As an early established hearing industry association in China, our purpose is to strengthen industry guidance, standardize industry technical standards, improve the quality of hearing rehabilitation services, encourage scientific and technological innovation, promote the development of hearing disciplines and the transformation of technological achievements; carry out continuing education and training, face the public, strengthen the publicity of hearing care, rehabilitation knowledge and scientific methods, and do a good job in scientific popularization.
At present, the scale of audiology education in China will have up to 1600 audiology undergraduate students graduate every year, and the employment direction is hearing aid fitting institutions, hospitals, and rehabilitation institutions of the Disabled Persons' Federation. According to the statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO), the hearing loss in the moderate and above hearing impairment population accounts for about 5.3% of the total population, according to the current population of 1.4 billion people in China, There are about 70 million disabled hearing impaired people in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. More than 30% of the elderly population over the age of 60 in China suffer from hearing impairment. According to the national health commission newborn disease screening data, China's new hearing impaired children are about 20,000-30,000 every year. This is a huge group of people who need rehabilitation services. The development of the special vocational ability improvement project for college students' auditory and speech rehabilitation has made up for the shortage of auditory and speech rehabilitation technical personnel to a certain extent.
The relevant person in charge told reporters that there is a crossover between auditory speech rehabilitation technology and the education and rehabilitation major of Beijing Union University, through the special vocational ability improvement project of auditory speech rehabilitation, the theoretical knowledge teaching and skill operation training are carried out simultaneously, and the qualified students are issued the "special vocational ability certificate of auditory speech rehabilitation technology", which cultivates compound technical skills talents, improves the quality of talent training in professional colleges and universities, and realizes the expansion of students' employment direction.
