Chancheng writer Zhang Quan's patriotic historical novel "Zhao Tuo Guihan" was published

This reporter learned from the Chancheng District Literary Association that the patriotic theme long historical novel "Zhao Tuo Guihan" (five volumes) created by zhang Quanfu, a well-known writer and chairman of the Chancheng District Literary Association, was recently published by the Guangzhou Publishing House.

It is understood that on the basis of respecting historical facts, the novel "Zhao Tuo Gui Han" has been broadened and refined in the form of a long historical novel in the Zhanghui style, reproducing and reconstructing the magnificent history of Zhao Tuo's return to the Han Dynasty under the leadership of South Vietnam, which has important textual significance and historical value. The novel has good textual enlightenment significance for realizing the complete reunification of the motherland, the prosperity and strength of the nation, the ownership of the South China Sea to China, and the advocacy of the "Belt and Road" construction.

The novel shows the process of Zhao Tuo's founding of the State of South Vietnam and his submission to the Han Dynasty. Zhao Tuo (240-137 BC), a native of Dongyuan County, Julu County (present-day Zhengding County, Hebei Province) of the Qin Dynasty, was a general of the Qin Dynasty, appointed by Qin Shi Huang to lead an army with the commander Ren Hu to pacify Lingnan as a deputy marshal. In the thirty-third year of Qin Shi Huang (214 BC), Zhao Tuo was appointed as the first county commander of Longchuan County, Nanhai County. In the second year of Qin II (208 BC), Zhao Tuo served as the sheriff of Nanhai County, and in the flames of the peasant revolt at the end of Qin, he sealed the pass, took advantage of the situation to annex Guilin County and Xiang County, and established the State of Nanyue in Panyu (present-day Guangzhou), called "King of Nanyue".

Zhao Tuo has always implemented the enlightened policy of "Heji Baiyue" in Lingnan, which has effectively promoted the great integration and development of the Hanyue nationality, and brought the advanced culture and farming technology of the Central Plains into South Vietnam, so that the ancient Lingnan land will be rejuvenated and develop better and faster.

In the first year of Emperor Wen of Han (179 BC), Zhao Tuo restored the title of "King of Nanyue" and the state of Nanyue returned to the Han Dynasty. As the "pioneer" of Lingnan and the first generation of "Nanyue King", Zhao Tuo made special and important contributions to the development of China's Lingnan region, and was regarded as the "ancestor of humanities" in Lingnan, a hero who promoted the reunification of the Chinese nation, a pioneer of the Maritime Silk Road, and "the first cadre to go south".

Qiu Huadong, a well-known writer, secretary of the Secretariat of the China Writers Association, and member of the presidium, commented on "Zhao Tuo's Return to Han" and said that Zhang Quan used five years of hardship and hardship to grind out this 2 million-word long masterpiece "Zhao Tuo Guihan", which is a five-volume Huanghuang and lyrical expression for the great motherland and people with full patriotic enthusiasm. The story is deeply moving, the language is funny and spicy, and the plot twists and turns, reflecting Zhang's solid foundation in traditional Chinese studies, thick historical and cultural literacy and valuable feelings of home and country.

Ye Yanbin, a famous writer and poet, honorary member of the National Committee of the China Writers Association, and former editor-in-chief of the Poetry Journal, said that the novel melts history, ideology and artistry into one furnace, and thickly transmits the consciousness of the Chinese national community. Zhang Quan used his majestic words to explain patriotic feelings and the writer's sense of mission.

Xie Youshun, a famous literary critic, vice president of the Chinese Novel Society, and professor at Sun Yat-sen University, said that the long historical novel "Zhao Tuo Guihan" is huge and ambitious, and zhang has done a lot of research and reflection on how the fate of individuals and the changes of the times, the frontier nationalities and the civilization of the Central Plains, and the literary fiction and historical reality are integrated. As an important pole of Chinese civilization, Lingnan culture is not only the background of the novel, but also the protagonist of the narrative, and the historical narration with Zhao Tuogui han as the main line is ultimately to construct a real literary "Lingnan".
