The script seminar of the TV film "Zhang Zai" was held in Xi'an

In order to further carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, highlight the rich historical and cultural accumulation of Shaanxi, publicize the outstanding historical figures of Shaanxi, and promote the research and publicity of Zhang Zaihe's "Guanxue", the Shaanxi Guanxue Culture Promotion Association and the School of History, Culture and Tourism of Xi'an University of Arts and Sciences jointly held a seminar on the script of the TV film "Zhang Zai" at Xi'an Guanzhong College on December 3. More than 30 people attended the seminar, including leaders of the Shaanxi Guanxue Culture Promotion Association and Xi'an College of Arts and Sciences, as well as experts, scholars, writers, and television artists from our province.

The script of the TV film "Zhang Zai" is planned and supported by Shaanxi Zhengmeng Cultural Development Co., Ltd., written by Shang Ziqin, a writer in our province, and the script aims to use the form of television art to visualize the character image and great contribution of Zhang Zai, a famous educator, thinker and philosopher in ancient China, and carry forward the spirit of "Guanxue" embodied in "establishing a heart for heaven and earth, establishing a destiny for the people, continuing to learn for the saints, and opening up peace for all the worlds". The script is divided into three episodes: "Master Style", "The Light of Zhengmeng" and "Guan Xue Qianqiu", which introduce Zhang Zai's life, tell the important nodes and stories of Zhang Zai's growth experience, introduce Zhang Zai's academic achievements and extensive influences in philosophical thought, educational thought and natural sciences, and the historical contribution of the establishment of the important academic school of "Guan Xue", and introduce the circulation of "Guan Xue" and the main representative figures of "Guan Xue" in the subsequent generations.

At the seminar, the leading experts and scholars attending the seminar seriously discussed the script. Everyone believes that this script uses the form of a television special film to comprehensively display the academic achievements and ancient and modern evaluations of Zhang Zai, a famous historical figure, and the "Guan Xue", focusing on the great influence and practical significance of the "Four Sentences of Hengqu", which is of positive significance for inheriting and carrying forward Zhang Zai Guanxue's thought, creating a cultural business card of Zhang Zaiguanxue, enhancing cultural self-confidence, and building the spiritual homeland of the Chinese nation. Based in Shaanxi, TV films tell the stories and historical figures of Shaanxi, with prominent local characteristics, and will also help the development of local cultural tourism undertakings and cultural industries in Shaanxi and Baoji and Meixian Counties.
