According to legend, during the founding of the Tang Dynasty, there was a "white-robed general" named Xue Rengui. Xue Rengui's parents died since childhood, and because his ancestors were poor for generations, he had to be temporarily adopted by his uncle after he became an orphan. As he grew older, Xue Rengui's food became larger and larger, and his poor uncle could not afford to support him, and when Xue Rengui was fifteen or sixteen years old, his uncle introduced him to a neighbor's family that lacked labor, and ate by working as a helper.
Because Xue Rengui was small and the amount of food was very amazing, even if he changed several households, he was dismissed because he could not support him. For the sake of Xue Rengui's livelihood, his uncle almost ran all over the surrounding villages, and when the poor villagers heard that Xue Rengui was not only amazingly strong, but also had a large amount of food, no one dared to take him in. With nothing he could do, his uncle took him home, and the family lived without food.
Xue Rengui thought: Instead of starving at his uncle's house and dragging down his uncle's family, it is better to go outside to make a living for himself. Having made up his mind, he bid farewell to his uncle and went out to earn a living. Xue Rengui walked out of XueJiawan and came to a place he had never been to before, he was looking for work to do, while begging for food, more than ten days passed, farther and farther away from his hometown, he found that the poor people in the world were as poor, he not only could not find a job to do, but also starved and froze every day.
As the saying goes: people are poor and short,away from horses. One day, Xue Rengui was so hungry that he couldn't stand it, and he felt that it was too difficult to live, so he had the idea of taking his own life. He came to the dead tree in a cemetery, cried a lot, and after prostrating his head three times toward his hometown, he untied his trouser belt and tied it to the dead tree to form a set, and put his chin in a rope noose with great helplessness and pain...
