Sun Simiao, a famous physician of the Tang Dynasty, was a native of Jingzhaohua and a native of Jin shaanxi. When Sun Simiao was seven years old, he studied in a private school, never forgetting, looking at ten lines at a glance, and could recite a thousand words a day. In his youth, he liked the Huang Lao Baijia doctrine and was especially good at medicine to save the living. Emperor Gaozong of Tang wanted to grant Sun Simiao the title, but was still refused. Later, Sun Simiao lived in seclusion in the Taibai Mountains and wrote two generations of medical classics, "Preparing for a Thousand Golden Formulas" and "Thousand Golden Wings Fang". It has been more than 1,400 years. He is a famous medical scientist and pharmacologist in the history of our country and even the world. Historically, he was revered as the "Medicine King", and the Taoists called him Sun Zhenren.
When Sun Simiao had not yet achieved the Immortal Path, during a medical practice, he encountered several children who were teasing a small snake with stones and wooden sticks, and seeing that the small snake was injured and bleeding, dying, Sun Simiao felt pity, so he spent money to buy the injured snake and carefully saved it with Chinese herbs. When the snake's wound heals, the snake is released.
One day, when Sun Simiao was studying in the case, he saw a handsome young man in green clothes with a crown of jade and jade appeared in front of him and invited Sun Simiao to a banquet. After a while, Sun Simiao accompanied the teenager to the pearlescent Crystal Palace, only to see a majestic-looking Dragon King dressed in crimson official robes come to greet him, invite Sun Simiao to the seat, and said, "My son went out a few days ago, injured the naughty boy, thanks to the nobles in time to rescue, fortunately survived, in the next thank you." He immediately called on the young man in green clothes to come to his knees and pay homage and give him a warm welcome. After Sun Simiao stayed for three days, he prepared to say goodbye. At this time, the old dragon king took out a dazzling treasure to give, and Sun Simiao resolutely refused to accept it, saying, "May the secret recipe of the palace of traditional Chinese medicine be used to help the living people of the world, and the treasure is not what I want", and the old dragon king presented the "Thirty-six Directions of Jade Flute". Servants were then dispatched to escort Sun Zhenren.

Sun Simiao wrote the prescription obtained from the Dragon Palace into the "Thousand Golden Fangs" of the ancestral medical code. Later, these prescriptions were tried and tested, but they all had a spiritual effect and countless living people. Sun Simiao's medical skills have also become more and more exquisite, and his accumulated merit is immeasurable.
Sun Simiao later attained immortality, and finally died of illness at the age of 141. After more than a month, his appearance came to life, and the disciple gave Sun Zhenren a burial, only to find that Sun Zhenren's clothes were already empty, and it turned out that Sun Zhenren had already feathered away.
There are as many as 87 kinds of works that have been handed down, the most famous of which is "A Thousand Golden Formulas".
Sun Simiao's medical ethics standard of "Great Doctor Sincerity" will always be admired by the world!
