Paul and Roman Raines were allied on the SmackDown show ahead of the 2020 Revenge Contest. Roman only returned to WWE after being away from the 2020 Summer 2020 Contest for more than five months, and when he returned to WWE, he sacrificed Brownstuman and the then-newly crowned global champion cult god - Bray Wyatt. (Now both are fired!) While his attacks on the two led many to believe that he would eventually abandon the Millennium Decent set-up, his alliance with Heyman confirmed this. They've been together for almost a year and a half, and Paul Heyman's role in Roman is different from that in Brock Lesner.
He is Lesner's attorney and special adviser to tribal chiefs. But since Brock Lesner returned to WWE at the 2021 Summer Frenzy, Heyman has repeatedly said he wants to return to his old clients. It seemed inevitable that Paul Heyman would either betray Roman or the tribal chief would simply dispose of his special advisers. The following small series summarizes the reasons why the three and Roman must be separated!
Paul has been under scrutiny by globe champion Roman since the summer 2021 frenzy, and they have questioned his loyalty on many occasions. He said he paid Heyman to get information in advance, and he was furious that Brock Lesner would appear on the 2021 summer frenzy after beating John Senna. Since then, we've seen footage of Paul Heyman wanting to reunite with Lesner, an idea that culminated in the 2021 Championship.
While Heyman appears to have thrown the Globe's championship belt into the ring to help Brock Lesner, it was Roman who picked up the title and then used it to attack the Beast Avatar and win with more help from the Usos brothers. This seems to be the last moment of his intention to betray Roman, but it backfires. Roman seemed angry about it on the SmackDown show the next night, but after that, things cooled down and were largely forgotten. Since then, Brock Lesnar has been suspended and his name was briefly used for the Blue brand. WWE has hinted that Paul Heyman's betrayal of Roman has been going on for too long to go.
Paul appears to be one of the three central figures in the feud between Roman and Brock Lesner before the Champions League of Champions 2021. That makes a lot of sense, because Lesner is still his client in a sense, as they never officially separated on the show's screen, but this awkwardness and discomfort is reflected in the storyline. With that said, the direction seems to be clear! WWE will host their third wrestling mania major event after the Royal Tournament 2022. The first was in 2015, the second in 2018 and the third in 2022. And that doesn't include their countless matches in Saudi Arabia, even at the 2018 Summer Frenzy.
While fans want to see Romain vs Johnson, all the suggestions and rumors seem to indicate that the company is planning to hold a wrestling mania 39 in Hollywood, but it will depend on whether Johnson can actually attend, so let's leave this aside. While it's a mission in itself, it's not that much trouble for Wrestling Mania 38, as there is rumored to be another massive clash between Roman Reign and Brock Lesnar. It seems that Paul Hyman's betrayal will be the only way to board Wrestling Mania 38 next year, because it is pointless to hint that it is only to keep it from happening for so long, and the role of Roman is also difficult to transform!
Paul didn't need to be a more despicable man for betraying the tribal chief.
