The subway station places "angry langurs" to scare off other monkeys

According to reports, monkeys are often found at the Lucknow subway station in Uttar Pradesh, India, and the local government has made a batch of cardboard printed with images of langur monkeys and placed them in nine subway stations with high traffic to scare other monkeys. Langurs are large and call loudly, so it is thought that other monkeys will be afraid of langurs. The screams of langurs had been played inside the station, but not enough to scare the monkeys away. Placing the langur cardboard and playing the "angry langur" call is quite effective. Station dispatcher Viwik Mishra said she regularly shifts the image position. (From CCTV News)
