Following "The Truth of Changing Lives" and "The Benevolent Doctor Under the Stars", TVB's last two Taiwanese dramas this year, "Moonlight on the Fifth Day of october" and "King of Fighters", have finally started broadcasting.
The two dramas are extremely contrasting in terms of genre, and one article and one weapon can be seen in TVB's thoughtful consideration of audience positioning.
But "Moonlight on the Fifth Day of October" is mainly about newcomers.
In contrast, "King of Fighters", which shows the true color of men, is more attractive in terms of cast.

The King of Fighters
Three-term emperor Li Yaoxiang, "rich and sunny" Zheng Zicheng.
There are also Zhang Zhenlang, Zhu Minhan, Huang Ziheng, and Xu Jiajie, all of whom are currently popular students at TVB.
In terms of role, in addition to Zheng Zicheng subverting the previous anti-angle image, he played a very positive role of a good person.
Li Yaoxiang's role positioning is no longer the most common small person in the past, but plays a boxing businessman Shi Aoshan.
This role is a bit like Huo Jingliang, played by Guo Feng in "Genesis".
Genesis
You can't simply say they're good or bad, but they have their own rules of doing things and their own way of doing things.
And this set of standards and principles is sometimes not recognized by mainstream values.
This kind of role requires the actor to have considerable qualifications and precipitation to grasp well.
Lü Buwei and Huo Jingliang, played by Guo Feng, are the best examples.
But what about Lai Yiu-cheung?
The honor of the three-term Emperor is enough to prove that Li Yaoxiang's acting skills are beyond doubt.
But if it is not blown or black, Li Yaoxiang in "The King of Fighters" has not yet reached guo Feng's realm.
The main factor is still in the script.
Shi Aoshan in "King of Fighters" is not a business tycoon as soon as he appears, and the original Shi Aoshan is just a Muay Thai coach with a right hand.
After that, with the subtitle of "10 years later", Shi Aoshan was transitioned to a boxing boss.
The plot omits Shi Aoshan's 10-year growth process, and the change of this character is not natural enough.
In addition, the power struggle story of "King of Fighters" is relatively weak.
Of course, there are still some places in the plot that are very watchable.
For example, in the beginning, Shi Aoshan's dereliction of duty as a coach almost killed his apprentice Hai Zhengxi (Tan Junyan).
Although Hai Zhenglan's (Zhang Zhenlang)'s motive for revenge is somewhat far-fetched.
But if Shi Aoshan terminates the game, Hai Zhengxi will definitely not die.
Hai Zhengxi's death, is Shi Aoshan's adherence to the concept of Muay Thai, or is it too selfish?
In addition, another key event of Shi Aoshan is the withdrawal of Haizheng Blue from the game in Episode 7.
Hai Zhenglan learned Muay Thai in order to take revenge on Shi Aoshan, and finally achieved a good result of the top 8 in the Nova Tournament after several months of hard practice.
However, Shi Aoshan asked Haizhenglan to retire on the grounds that Haizhenglan was detrimental to the image of Muay Thai.
To this end, he also let Hai Zhenglan's program on Wen Shanyan (Lai Weiling) be interviewed, and Wen Shanyan premeditated to make Hai Zhenglan withdraw from the game.
This plot is well written.
Is Shi Aoshan's effort to prevent Hai Zhenglan from competing in the competition selfish, or is it concerned about Hai Zhengxi's reputation?
Did Shi Aoshan not want Wen Shan to tell the truth in order to protect his lover from harm?
Overall, the power struggle plot of "King of Fighters" is a bit weak, but Li Yaoxiang's character style of good and evil is a good highlight.
As long as the follow-up continues to exert efforts, the low ratings and word-of-mouth of "King of Fighters" will definitely be able to bring it up.
